- Microsoft Teams: Anonymous meeting join across clouds – Join meetings in other clouds anonymously from your Teams desktop app (across clouds). We will be enabling this in three phases. First, Commercial and GCC customers will be able to join meetings in GCC-High and DOD clouds. Next, we will enable GCC-High customers to join Commercial, GCC and DOD meetings. - Microsoft Teams: Usability improvements to informational messages in meetings for iOS – Notification drawer for in-meeting informational messages, so users can preview, collapse and clear all notifications with one tap. Roadmap ID:86957
- Microsoft Teams: Roaming bandwidth control for GCC-High and DoD – Admins will now be able to set a bandwidth control policy to disable video calls when users are working in bandwidth constrained areas – this protects the reliability of the connection, automatically just based on where the users are located. Once users return to a location with better bandwidth, their video calling is restored. Initially two settings from the Teams Meeting Policy will be included – AllowIPVideo, and MediaBitRateKb. - Microsoft Teams: Suggested Replies in chats – Suggested replies in Teams chat uses assistive AI to create short responses based on the context of the previous message. Suggested replies presents users with up to three recommended responses to choose from. Roadmap ID:92674
- Microsoft Teams: New default settings when opening Office files For Government clouds – Users can set a default of browser, desktop or Teams when opening Office files (Word, Excel, and Power Point) that are shared in Teams. - Microsoft Teams: Follow Office preview policy on Mac – Public Preview has provided IT admins with the ability to allow their users to receive preview features before they are released to the public. The existing follow Office preview policy allows users to automatically be in the Public Preview Channel of Teams if they are in the Office Current Channel (Preview) on Windows. - Microsoft Teams: Pairing the channel and the corresponding SharePoint folder name – When renaming a Teams’ channel, the corresponding SharePoint folder will be renamed and reflect the new name. This will help create consistency across Microsoft 365 endpoints, making it easier on users to find their files from anywhere. This new feature will be available for all Standard and Private channels. For Standard channels – The corresponding folder in SharePoint will be renamed. For Private channels – The corresponding site name and the folder in SharePoint will be renamed. For legacy Teams channels that were renamed prior to this rollout, there will be no change in experience. When a legacy channel is renamed after this release, it will simultaneously rename the corresponding SharePoint folder. Roadmap ID:72211

- Microsoft Teams: Dynamic Emergency Calling for Work From Home for VDI – VMware – This feature enables users on VMware on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to make an emergency call while working from home. It will allow users to validate (and if necessary, edit) the address that will be communicated to emergency responders. This feature has been delayed to incorporate initial feedback. Roadmap ID:86858
