  • Microsoft Teams: Attendance Dashboard in GCC – Measure meeting and webinar registration and attendance data in the Attendance Dashboard. Roadmap ID:87061
  • Microsoft Teams: Answer Meeting Nudges with Video for iOS – This feature brings the ability for iOS devices to automatically answer incoming meeting nudges with their video on. The feature availability is controlled through AutoAnswerwithVideo. Roadmap ID:82325
  • Microsoft Teams: Local time added to people profile – You can easily find out the local time of the people you collaborate with by checking their profile card.ย Roadmap ID:54254
  • Microsoft Teams: Tab actions are moving – Microsoft Teams tab actions are moving out of the tab header bar and into the tab dropdown to help declutter the user experience. This impacts all application tabs such as Assignments, Grades, Planner or the Website tab. These tab actions will be found by clicking on the tab name to show a dropdown menu and include: Reload tab, Go to website, Copy link to tab, Pop-out tab, and About this tab.ย Roadmap ID:88341

  • Microsoft Teams: Improved Meeting support in Firefox browser – Full audio and screensharing support for meetings in Firefox browser. Roadmap ID:83838
  • Microsoft Teams: User request flows for blocked apps – Enable users to discover Teams apps in the store and request approval from administrators. Roadmap ID:84469
  • Microsoft Teams: Up to 25K members per team in DoD – You can now add up to 25,000 members per team in DoD. Roadmap ID:85338
  • Microsoft Teams: Anonymous meeting join across clouds – Join meetings in other clouds anonymously from your Teams desktop app (across clouds).  We will be enabling this in three phases. First, Commercial and GCC customers will be able to join meetings in GCC-High and DOD clouds. Next, we will enable GCC-High customers to join Commercial, GCC and DOD meetings. Then, we will enable DOD customers to join Commercial, GCC, and GCC-High meetings. Item has been delayed and is being rescheduled. Roadmap ID:86311
  • Microsoft Teams: Usability improvements to informational messages in meetings for iOS –         Notification drawer for in-meeting informational messages, so users can preview, collapse and clear all notifications with one tap. Roadmap ID:86957
  • Microsoft Teams: Roaming bandwidth control for GCC-High and DoD – Admins will now be able to set a bandwidth control policy to disable video calls when users are working in bandwidth constrained areas โ€“ this protects the reliability of the connection, automatically just based on where the users are located.  Once users return to a location with better bandwidth, their video calling is restored. Initially two settings from the Teams Meeting Policy will be included – AllowIPVideo, and MediaBitRateKb. Roadmap ID:89064
  • Microsoft Teams: Suggested Replies in chats – Suggested replies in Teams chat uses assistive AI to create short responses based on the context of the previous message. Suggested replies presents users with up to three recommended responses to choose from. Roadmap ID:92674
  • Microsoft Teams: New default settings when opening Office files For Government clouds – Users can set a default of browser, desktop or Teams when opening Office files (Word, Excel, and Power Point) that are shared in Teams.  The desktop setting can be selected, if the user has Office version 16 or newer installed and activated.  Roadmap ID:92946
  • Microsoft Teams: Follow Office preview policy on Mac – Public Preview has provided IT admins with the ability to allow their users to receive preview features before they are released to the public.  The existing follow Office preview policy allows users to automatically be in the Public Preview Channel of Teams if they are in the Office Current Channel (Preview) on Windows. We are now expanding the “follow Office preview” policy to Mac users who are in the Office Current Channel (Preview).   Roadmap ID:93536

  • ๐Ÿ†• Microsoft Teams: Dynamic caller ID for call queue agents – Call queue agents can now place calls from the Calls app using a call queue phone number as their caller ID. This ensures the call is properly identified by the recipient and that the call back number is the call queue number rather than the agent’s personal line. Roadmap ID:86992
  • ๐Ÿ†• Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Teams app in Microsoft store – Microsoft Teams app for work, school and life will soon be available to download from Microsoft store. This app will support work, school and consumer accounts on Windows 10 and Work or school accounts on Windows 11. Roadmap ID:94577
  • Microsoft Teams: Bulk removal for individual policy assignments – Admins can cleanup individual policy assignments from users in bulk, so that those users can inherit the correct policy either via a group policy assignment or global org-wide default. Roadmap ID:90705
  • Microsoft Teams: Usability improvements to informational messages in meetings for Android – Notification drawer for in-meeting informational messages, so users can preview, collapse and clear all notifications with one tap. Roadmap ID:86958
  • Microsoft Teams: Disable or Enable all Attendees’ Video for DoD – Ability in DoD to disable and enable videos for all attendees before or during a Microsoft Teams meeting. Roadmap ID:91665
  • Microsoft Teams: Disable or Enable a Single Attendee’s Video for DoD – Ability to disable and enable a single attendee’s video in a Microsoft Teams meeting. Roadmap ID:91666
  • Microsoft Teams: Pairing the channel and the corresponding SharePoint folder name – When renaming a Teamsโ€™ channel, the corresponding SharePoint folder will be renamed and reflect the new name. This will help create consistency across Microsoft 365 endpoints, making it easier on users to find their files from anywhere.  This new feature will be available for all Standard and Private channels. For Standard channels โ€“ The corresponding folder in SharePoint will be renamed. For Private channels โ€“ The corresponding site name and the folder in SharePoint will be renamed. For legacy Teams channels that were renamed prior to this rollout, there will be no change in experience. When a legacy channel is renamed after this release, it will simultaneously rename the corresponding SharePoint folder. Roadmap ID:72211

  • Microsoft Teams: Dynamic Emergency Calling for Work From Home for VDI – VMware – This feature enables users on VMware on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to make an emergency call while working from home. It will allow users to validate (and if necessary, edit) the address that will be communicated to emergency responders. This feature has been delayed to incorporate initial feedback.
