  • Microsoft Viva: First run experiences to introduce topic highlights in SharePoint pages and topic page editing – First Run Experiences for a user’s first encounter with topics and contribution.   • SharePoint: Planner cards appear within SharePoint team site home page activity feed – When you use connected Planner plans, task cards will appear on the related team site home page.   • SharePoint: Microsoft Lists calendar view conditional formatting – Items in a list’s calendar view can be color coded based on conditions or rules specified on the fields available in the view.   • 🆕 SharePoint: Video collections page – SharePoint video collections pages make it easy to gather and display all of the videos from a SharePoint site collection in one place.  This feature is particularly helpful schools, universities and other organizations that tend to share videos in Teams channels. With this feature you will be able to create a tab in your Teams channel that links directly to a specific collection of videos. Roadmap ID: 93352

  • SharePoint: Microsoft 365 connected templates – We are combining the best of Microsoft Teams templates with SharePoint site templates – into the same flow of creation. When we create a new team using a default template – for example the “Manage a Project” template, the project management channels and apps, and the connected SharePoint template gets applied automatically. Critically, the pages, lists, and Power Platform integrations are pinned as tabs in Teams automatically, and best of all these pages and lists are fully editable right in Teams.  Roadmap ID:82158
  • Microsoft Viva: New module powered by Viva Goals – Microsoft Viva Goals connects employees to your organization’s goals, helps them stay aligned at scale, and drives business results to empower people and teams to understand their impact.   • Microsoft Compliance Center: Expanded support to search and export items in SharePoint and OneDrive for Business Recycle Bin in Advanced eDiscovery – Traditionally, when a site is on hold, the files in the Recycle Bin would be stored in the Preservation Hold library.  In cases when a site is not on hold, there is no way to search or export items in the Recycle Bin.  The eDiscovery and SharePoint Online teams are making architectural changes that will make the Recycle Bin (both first-stage and second-stage Recycle Bins) in SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business searchable and exportable by eDiscovery Managers.  That means organizations can search and export items in the Recycle Bin regardless of whether a site is on hold or not. Roadmap ID:67092

  • SharePoint: Migrate SharePoint 2010 and 2013 workflows to Power Automate – Provide Microsoft 365 customers with a tool to migrate SharePoint-based workflows to Power Automate. You will be able to migrate SharePoint 2010 (out-of-the-box) workflows and SharePoint 2013 (SharePoint Designer) workflows to Power Automate flows.   •  SharePoint: MSFT Editor Spellcheck and Grammar in SharePoint Pages – We are adding the Microsoft Editor service to SharePoint Pages and News and enabling their spellcheck and grammar capabilities. This will allow proofreading to take place in SharePoint without relying on the Editor browser extension. This feature changes the suggestions colors to monochrome when they’re shown on a themed background to increase visibility. Feature ID:88534

  • 🆕 SharePoint: SharePoint File Card for Government clouds – You can get quick insights on files before you even open them. When you see a file in OneDrive or SharePoint, point to the file, and then wait for the file card to appear. The file card tells you if a file is popular among your peers, how long it might take to read it, and even show the author key points. If you are working on the file with others, the file card will show you recent activities you haven’t seen yet, a list of viewers and views, and links to places where you referenced the file in email, meetings, or Teams chats. The file card is only visible to people who have access to the file, so the information on the card is just as secure as your files. We are introducing a new universal Settings page in the MyAnalytics web dashboard that will include settings for the daily Briefing email in addition to the existing controls.
