  • Microsoft Teams: Call delegation feature enhancements – Shared line appearance lets a user choose a delegate to answer or handle calls on their behalf. We are launching a simplified experience for users who have set up call delegation which will be available on the Teams desktop app and Teams phone devices. The new UI will allow delegates to easily switch between the different delegator lines they manage and view call history for the delegator’s line. Delegators will be able to view and join active calls handled by the delegate and grant delegates permission to join active calls.   •  Microsoft Teams: Admin Policy for Collaborative Annotations – New admin policy to control Collaborative Annotations for user, group, or entire organization.   • Microsoft Teams: QR code to reserve a room on Teams Panels – This feature lets users easily book a room for meetings now, in the future, or as part of a scheduled meeting by scanning a QR code on the scheduling panel with their mobile device.   • Microsoft Teams: Proactive monitoring of meeting quality using Real-time telemetry (Premium) – Proactive monitoring capability for admins in the Teams Admin Center (TAC) to identify audio, video and app sharing related quality issues while the meeting is in progress. Admins can define the desired monitoring parameters in TAC, which they will be notified of for investigation of users with poor meeting quality.   • Microsoft Teams: Walkie Talkie Favorite Channels – Walkie Talkie, a push-to-talk experience that enables clear and secure voice communication over the cloud, enables teams to communicate instantly on a channel. Through this new functionality, users can now pin up to 5 favorite channels on the walkie talkie home screen, enabling users to quickly switch between these preselected channels to listen to incoming transmission or initiate PTT transmissions.   •  OneDrive: Updated file sharing experience – OneDrive is updating the unified file sharing experience that appears when you share files in Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint, Stream, OneNote, Planner and many other Microsoft 365 apps. The updated sharing dialog will have simpler look and feel. Additionally, when users select “copy link” they will get a clear on-screen confirmation that the link has been copied, and the confirmation will self-dismiss. Roadmap ID: 124933
  • OneDrive: New Shared Experience – We are updating the Shared experience in OneDrive for web which can be found in the left nav pane. The new experience will show files and folders shared across various Microsoft 365 apps so that users can find files shared with them over email, chats, and meetings all in one place. In addition, users can identify updates to files by using the activity column, as well as leverage the new filtering pills to quickly find shared files. Roadmap ID: 117426

  •  Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – | Named entities sensitive information types (SITs) and policy authoring templates – Named entities are sensitive information types (SITs) that can’t easily be identified by a regular expression or a function; these include person names, physical addresses, and medical terms & conditions. This update adds 52 new SITs representing named entities and 10 enhanced policy templates that can be used in solutions such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and auto-labeling, and cover important regulations, such as US Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and European Union (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).   • Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Tenant Allow/Block List domain & addresses block to send inbound emails to admin quarantine – Today, incoming messages from domains or email addresses blocked by the Tenant Allow/Block List are treated as high-confidence spam (marked with SCL:9), which may not properly protect end users. Including collection and review of metadata associated to Teams meeting recordings and video files in OneDrive and SharePoint including transcripts/captions, chapters, and custom thumbnails.   • Microsoft Purview compliance portal:  Insider Risk Management – Data leaks by risky users – Enabled by the HR 1.2 connector, this policy template detects data leaks by users near a stressor event. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, security and policy violations, and more. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.   • 🆕 Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – Advanced Fingerprinting – Document Fingerprinting in Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) converts a standard form into a sensitive information type (SIT), which you can use in the rules of your DLP policies. This update extends support for Fingerprint-based SITs to additional workloads, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Endpoint and enables admins to adjust threshold while creating Fingerprint SITs.  This also allows you to detect when a portion of your sensitive document is exposed using partial matching support with Fingerprinting across the compliance solutions.   • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Ability to fetch the original file resulting in policy match as evidence | customer managed storage – In the alerts triage & incident management experience, the admin can access a copy of the file that was restricted by DLP. The original file is uploaded to a customer managed storage (Azure blob). The admin uses this data to analyze the contents to confirm the full set of data that was exfiltrated to assess severity.   • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – Named entity coverage for additional markets and languages – Named entities are sensitive information types (SITs) that can’t easily be identified by a regular expression or a function; these include person names, physical addresses, and medical terms and conditions. This update expands name and address coverage to an additional 7 countries, such as China and Russia, and expands medical terms and conditions (specifically for the Diseases SIT) to an additional 29 languages covering much of Europe, China, Japan, and Korea.   • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Forensic evidence (U.S. Government clouds) – The forensic evidence capability is an opt-in add-in to Insider Risk Management, helping customers’ security teams get visual insights into potentially risky user actions that might lead to a data security incident. Forensic evidence is off by default and policy creation requires dual authorization. Customers determine what triggers the feature and manage investigation processes. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies to manage security and compliance.   •  Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Apply Purview Message Encryption branding with DLP policy (U.S. Government clouds) – Purview Messaging Encryption supports customized branding templates for encrypted mail sent to external recipients. The functionality is being brought to Data Loss Prevention from Exchange mail flow rule. In addition, DLP policies provide additional configuration to control whether Microsoft 365 external recipients will be able to view the encrypted mail inline using Outlook or the encrypted portal experience.
