- Microsoft Teams: Teams casting from mobile device to Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows – For quick ad-hoc sessions that don’t necessarily require setting up a formal meeting, people can use Teams casting to wirelessly connect to a Teams Room running on Windows, and display content from their mobile phone. - Yammer and Microsoft Teams: Customize branding & link previews – Microsoft Teams admins can customize the branding for the Yammer Communities app for Microsoft Teams to suit their Yammer network with their preferred app logos, naming, accent color, and more. with this Communities app for Microsoft Teams, users see a rich Yammer preview in chats and channel conversations when the user pastes a URL of a conversation from a public Yammer community. - Microsoft Teams: Lower all raised hands for GCC-High and DoD – Meeting organizers and presenters will see an option to lower all raised hands from the participant pane. Roadmap ID: 83487
- Microsoft Teams: Access files offline on mobile – The Teams mobile app now allows you to access files even when you are offline or in bad network conditions. Simply select the files you need access to, and Teams will keep a downloaded version to use in your mobile app. You will find all your files that are available offline in the files section of the app. Roadmap ID: 68750

- Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint: Annotation support in PowerPoint Live in Teams and Slideshow – We are introducing virtual laser pointer and ink annotations so presenters can engage more with their audience by drawing attention or clarifying certain sections of the PowerPoint deck. Just as you would use a physical laser point in a room, PowerPoint Live allows you to effectively point at different places in the presentation so the audience can easily follow along what’s on the slide. - Microsoft Teams: Dynamic view – Dynamic view automatically optimizes shared content and video participants in Teams meetings. - Microsoft Information Protection: Data loss prevention for Microsoft Teams for DoD – Data loss prevention (DLP) capabilities in Microsoft 365 government clouds will be extended to include Microsoft Teams chat and channel messages, including private channel messages. - SharePoint and Teams: updated Add a Team to a site wizard – Microsoft wants to make it easier to use the connected value of SharePoint and Teams. People use SharePoint team site home pages with dynamic web parts as mini-dashboards for group content: pages, news, links, documents, group activity and more – and it’s configurable. - Microsoft Teams: Pin your own video in Teams meetings – Currently, users can pin video feeds to increase the size of the desired video on their own screen. Now, we have expanded the ability for users to pin their own video on the stage as well. This way, users can also see their own video in the increased size on their screen. Roadmap ID: 86342
- Microsoft Teams: Hide your own video in Teams meeting – Currently, the user’s video is displayed at the bottom right corner of the meeting screen. This feature allows users to hide their own video during a meeting. This will help reduce distractions during the call while still having your video available for other participants. - Microsoft Teams: Updated companion mode for iOS users – For a better hybrid meeting experience, Teams users on their iPhone can use a single tap to join a meeting on both their device and Microsoft Teams Room. Audio on their device will be automatically turned off to ensure echo doesn’t happen. Furthermore, the landing experience on the iPhone will be optimized for engagement activities to make it easier to raise hand or react, chat, see all participants, and more. Roadmap ID: 87869

- Microsoft Teams: Meet now support for Teams Rooms on Windows – Teams Rooms on Windows are making an alignment for Meet now experience to Teams desktop replacing New meeting control on the Teams room console with Meet (aka Meet now). With Meet, users can start an ad-hoc meeting with a single tap and invite participants to it. This change is only applicable if the Teams rooms is running in Microsoft Teams only or Microsoft Teams (default) and Skype for Business modes. With this change, all P2P calling and group calling functionality is moved under calling application. Roadmap ID: 89066
- Microsoft Teams: Calling app update for Teams Rooms on Windows – Teams Rooms on Windows are making an alignment for calling experience to Teams desktop replacing Dial pad control on the Teams room console with Call. Calling app provides users functionality to dial PSTN calls where available as well as enable entry point for P2P Teams calls, group Teams calls and P2P federated user calls. This change is only applicable if the Teams rooms is running in Microsoft Teams only or Microsoft Teams (default) and Skype for Business modes. With this change, all P2P calling and group calling functionality that was previously under New meeting button is moved under Call. For customers that use SIP URI calling through Skype for Business, Enter SIP URI entry point is available in Microsoft Teams (default) and Skype for Business mode. Roadmap ID: 89069

- Microsoft Teams: Front row layout for Teams Rooms on Windows – Front row is a new layout for Microsoft Teams Rooms, designed to enhance hybrid meetings and provide in-room participants with greater context of what is happening across various aspects of the meeting. With front row, remote attendees are seen in the room at eye level and additional meeting experiences including chat, and a rostered view of participants with raised hands, are brought to the front of room screen. Roadmap ID: 89065
- Microsoft Teams: New Tag Management Settings – This feature will update default tag management settings in the Teams Admin Center to include ”Team owners and members” and not just “Team owners.” You can still update this to only “Team owners” at the tenant level and override the default. Roadmap ID: 88318

Re: #67147. The ability to add collapsible sections is available, but not the ability to add tabs. Any word on when tabs might become available?

To be honest, I haven’t heard a single thing about tabs since this roadmap item went GA. I’ve not found anything online, but I’ve asked the question on Twitter so I’ll let you know if I get any info

Update – I’ve had a response from a Programme Manager at Microsoft about tabs saying:
“Sadly it’s on hold at the moment due to resourcing challenges/ priorities. It’s painful that we haven’t been able to turn our prototype into production code yet #InTheBacklog”
