  • OneDrive and Microsoft Stream: Sharing Links that block download for most video and audio files – Users can choose to share most video and audio files with a sharing link that will prevent recipients from being able to download the file. Recipients can still view the file via the web player experiences. Roadmap ID: 82193

  • OneDrive: Sharing experience – Copy Link in command bar – We are updating the copy link command to give customers the ability to change their link type and permissions prior to generating a new link and pasting it into the app of their choice. Roadmap ID: 88866

Release – February 2022

  • OneDrive and SharePoint for Business: Library Dropdown – We’re adding a dropdown that allows you to easily switch between multiple document libraries associated with a Team or Site. Roadmap ID: 81990
  • OneDrive: Sync client support for Apple Silicon – We will be updating OneDrive for Mac to be a universal app that will run natively on Macs with M1. Roadmap ID: 82035

Release – March 2022

  • OneDrive: Sync client support for ARM on Windows – The OneDrive sync client will run natively on ARM on Windows. Roadmap ID: 82182
  • OneDrive: Sync admin reports – Windows support – New dashboard to check sync app versions, sync status, top sync errors on individual devices, and monitor deployment progress of Known Folder Move. Roadmap ID: 88871

Release – April 2022

  • 🆕 OneDrive and SharePoint: Access your Teams standard and private channel files – When you navigate to a site in SharePoint or OneDrive, you’ll be able to access the files stored in the Teams standard and private channels associated with that site.  Roadmap ID:88911
  • 🆕 OneDrive: Easily navigate to all your Teams files from OneDrive – In OneDrive, we are adding a “Your Teams” section to the “More Places” page to allow you to easily find and work with all your files in Teams. Roadmap ID: 88912
  • OneDrive: Activity column in My Files – When you navigate to the “My Files” page in OneDrive for Business Web, you’ll see an Activity column that shows which of your shared documents have unseen edits and comment. Roadmap ID: 88913
