  • SharePoint: Microsoft Lists- A new forms experience to collect information – We are making it easier to collect information with an updated forms experience for Microsoft Lists. Forms look clean, are easy to design, can be easily shared, and respondents are able to fill them out on any device.   • SharePoint: Improvements for document library version history limits  –  We are increasing version history limits for SharePoint document libraries. Admins can set an appropriate level of recoverability and auditability for their organization. Today Site Owners can set count-based version limits at the individual document library level. With the upcoming changes, people will have two version history settings: 1) Automatic mode that intelligently adjusts based on a version’s age and restore probability, and 2) Manual mode that will allow admins to set version expiration and count limits on the versions created. And tenant admins will be able set version limits that apply universally to all newly created document libraries in their organization; site owners can then update settings for their document library(ies).   • SharePoint: Video Pages – Create video centric page content, like highlighting meeting content or executive messages with the new video pages templates – presenting them inline, playable, and beautiful. This will help admins identify and fix quality issues using granular telemetry after the meeting is over for up to 7 days.   • Microsoft Teams: Intelligent Recap now available for Copilot users – Copilot users can access intelligent recap after meetings to get a summary of the meeting, including: personalized timeline markers to easily browse the recordings by when you joined or left, when a screen was shared, and when your name was mentioned; browse recordings by speakers, chapters, and topics; as well as access AI-generated meeting notes, tasks, and jump to name mentions in the transcript.   • Microsoft Teams: Front Row gallery improvements on Teams Rooms on Windows: Active video speaker promotion – Front Row now promotes pinned or spotlighted participants to the center stage when there is no shared content in the single and dual display mode. For single display mode, when no one is pinned, spotlighted or sharing content, the most recent active speaker video will be promoted to the center. In dual display mode, when no one is pinned, spotlighted or sharing content, the two most recent active speaker videos will be promoted to the center on each screen. If someone is sharing content, the most recent active video speaker will be promoted on the right screen.   • Microsoft Teams: Chat button on missed call activity -Easily stay in touch with your contacts after a missed call.   • Microsoft Teams: Custom backgrounds for announcement posts in channels (Premium) – Teams users will be able to create engaging custom backgrounds for channel announcements in just a few clicks.   • Microsoft Teams: New Shortcuts for Calls in Teams – We are changing the keyboard shortcuts used to initiate calls in Teams to create differentiation from other commonly used shortcuts and reduce accidental calls. The new shortcuts for Windows will be: Alt + Shift + A to initiate audio calls, Alt + Shift + V for video calls.   • Microsoft Teams: Collaborative notes on Teams mobile – Collaborative notes allow meeting attendees to co-create and collaborate on their meeting agenda, notes, and action items. Since Collaborative notes are a Loop component, it is always in sync regardless of how many places they live in.   • Microsoft Teams: Workflows App – workflow capabilities in Teams (powered by Power Automate) will be consolidated under the new Workflows app. Within the Workflows personal app you’ll be able to manage all Teams related workflows.   • Microsoft Teams: New Tag Management Settings –This feature will update default tag management settings in the Teams Admin Center to include "Microsoft Default" along with Team owners and members" and "Team owners.” You can update this to your preferred option of "Team owners" or "Team owners and members" at the tenant level and override the default. Note: This change only applies to Public cloud and does not apply to any special Cloud such as GCC, GCCH, DoD, Gallatin, and AirGap.   • Microsoft Teams: Preview and playback of Stream videos inline in Teams chat and channels – Stream videos that are saved in OneDrive and SharePoint are now embedded in chat and channels enabling users to preview and play them directly in Teams without the need to open a browser window.   • Microsoft Teams: Hotline phones  – Enables administrators to program Microsoft Teams certified phone devices to directly dial a pre-configured phone number or contact, such as emergency services in a manufacturing plant or help desk in the organization. The hotline can be set up directly through the device settings or the Teams admin center. The device will need to be enabled with a Teams Shared Device License and set to common area phone mode.   • Microsoft Teams: work hours and location – Set your work location for the day so your team can learn about your availability for in-office and remote collaboration. Click on a user’s avatar or profile photo anywhere in Teams and get an overview of their online status, the next available calendar slot in Outlook, work hours, local time, and work location (remote or office).   • Microsoft Teams: New channels experience – New channels experience was built with an intuitive design that helps teams focus and actively engage.   • Microsoft Teams: Virtual appointment – a new Teams Meeting type for B2C meetings – Virtual Appointment is a new Teams meeting type tailored for B2C meetings with people outside of your organization. When using the meeting type, guests will get a meeting invitation that includes important appointment details to make joining easy. They can join from any device—no need to install Teams—and experience a comfortable pre-appointment virtual waiting room until you’re ready to begin.  This was incorrectly marked as complete on May 15th, 2023 and has been updated to the correct status of rolling out.   • Microsoft Teams: Power Automate Connector – Updates App (Microsoft 365) –  Updates App (Microsoft 365) connector enables creation of Power Automate flows which trigger when an update is sent to the flow owner.   • Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows UI refresh – <span dir=ltr>A vibrant new look and feel for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows consoles and front-of-room displays. This update includes vivid new ambient screens, new themes, and a refreshed calendar that enables scrolling for full day views, on consoles and front-of-room displays.   •  Microsoft Teams: Deploy your frontline operational hierarchy in the Teams Admin Center – Admins will be able to set up their frontline operational hierarchy to map their organization’s structure of frontline teams/locations to a hierarchy in the Teams Admin Center. Admins can also define attributes for their teams that range from department information to brand information.   • Microsoft Teams: Teams Connect chat enhancements – IT admins will be able to add external partners with phone-based Teams accounts not managed by an organization to their organization’s extended directory. This mode ensures the meeting content is extended to the front of the room for others to see and provides the host the peace of mind their desktop is for their viewing only, minimizes the personal information that others in the room can see.   • Microsoft Teams: Management of BYOD (Bring your own device) meeting spaces with Teams Rooms Pro Management – The BYOD (bring your own device) rooms in the Pro Management Portal provides IT admins with a comprehensive overview of their BYOD rooms’ utilization and activities. With this new addition, IT admins will gain valuable insights into how these spaces are being utilized, enabling them to make data driven decisions.   • Microsoft Teams Admin Center: Configure maintenance window for Teams devices – Admins will be able to configure the maintenance window for their Teams devices from within the Teams Admin Center.   • Microsoft Teams: UX improvements for Multi-Tenant Organization (MTO) users – This release features user experience improvements when Microsoft Teams users interact with users in another tenant that belongs to their organization (e.g., for conglomerates, as a result of mergers and acquisitions). Key changes include removing the possibility of split 1:1 chat threads, richer profile information, removal of the “External” label, and introducing support for an optional admin configurable label.   • Microsoft Teams: Watermark support for recording playback (Premium) –Recording can now be enabled for watermarked meetings. An email ID will be displayed as the watermark during the meeting recording playback. Once a meeting has concluded, users can access the recorded content on both web and mobile platforms to watch the recording with watermarking.   • 🆕  Microsoft Teams: Change background while recording on phone – You can record a video clip with your phone camera and switch your background to any picture you want or make it blurry. With this feature, you can record yourself anywhere and share it with coworkers in your Teams chat or channel.   • 🆕 Meeting organizers can manage who can record and transcribe meetings (Premium) – We are expanding the existing ‘Who can record’ control for meeting organizers to include transcription. With this change, meeting organizers with a Teams Premium license will see a control called ‘Who can record and transcribe’ in the meeting options, which allows meeting organizers to select from two options: (1) organizers and co-organizers, or (2) organizers, co-organizers, and presenters. This control allows meeting organizers to manage which roles are able to initiate recording and transcription for a meeting.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: screen recorder on mobile device – You can use Teams on your Android device to record your screen and share it with others in any channel or chat.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Expanded incoming call setting options for Teams Phone Mobile users – Teams Phone Mobile users will now the flexibility to choose whether group calls, calls received as part of a call queue, and meeting nudges are received natively on their mobile phone or in the Teams app. This new capability enables greater flexibility and mobility and allows users to easily move these calls between their native dialer or the Teams app without interruption.   • Microsoft Teams: 3P eCDN support for town halls (Premium) – Admins have the ability to disable Microsoft first party eCDN at a user level within a tenant for users licensed with Teams Premium and switch the users back to using a third-party eCDN as they prefer.   • Microsoft Teams: Control your mic state during meetings from Windows taskbar available in the new Teams on Windows – This feature, available in the new Teams experience on Windows, enables you to mute and unmute your audio by clicking the mic icon in Windows taskbar. The QR code is found on the Teams Room home screen and can also be scanned to start an ad-hoc meeting or cast content from their mobile to the Teams Room display.
