  • SharePoint: Microsoft Lists Customizable Command Bar – You can personalize a list to suit your needs by customizing the command bar. Like how you can customize form headers and footers, the JSON based feature will allow basic changes to the command bar, including modification of icon or text, hiding existing options or repositioning commands.   • Microsoft Stream: Improve audio quality with Noise suppression for Stream (on SharePoint) – Noise suppression helps both creators and viewers isolate speech from ambient noise, music, and other sounds, making voice more intelligible. Noise suppression significantly reduces ambient noise, bringing more clarity to speech in videos. Roadmap ID:88949
  • SharePoint: Site owners manage app requests in SharePoint Store – Site owners can manage requests for store apps in a streamlined process and track the status in a modern view of My requests page under SharePoint Apps. Roadmap ID:88950
  • Microsoft Viva: Top news card on Viva Connections Dashboard – Set up Top news card in Viva Connections Dashboard to surface boosted news from SharePoint. News that has been boosted will prominently display in the Top news card. Roadmap ID: 88955
  • Microsoft Viva: Enroll in Focus plan from the Microsoft Viva Insights app in Teams – Viva Insights is introducing updates to better enable users to protect time for focus from the Viva Insights Teams app. These updates to the protect time page will allow users to enroll in a focus plan and adjust preferences to auto book focus time on one’s calendar from within the Insights app in Teams. Roadmap ID: 88957

Release – March 2022

  • 🆕 SharePoint Syntex: Advanced search with custom columns – With this release, end users will be able to add site columns and other queryable columns from the current document library view into the advanced search flyout by clicking “more options”. Managed Metadata fields are not yet supported. Roadmap ID: 88961
  • 🆕 Microsoft Viva: New Settings page to configure all personal insights and experiences – The Config Settings page in the MyAnalytics dashboard allows users to customize working hours, set up focus plan, set quiet hours, set up delay delivery, and, when applicable, configure their team. We are introducing a new universal Settings page in the MyAnalytics web dashboard that will include settings for the daily Briefing email in addition to the existing controls. Access to select settings will be extended to all users that have licenses with the Exchange Online service plan. Roadmap ID: 88994

  • 🆕 SharePoint: Site template history – View the history of any site templates applied to your site and related site script actions. Roadmap ID: 93186
  • Microsoft Viva: Quiet time settings in Teams and Outlook – To help create better boundaries and protect your personal time, later this year Viva Insights will offer the ability to configure quiet time to silence mobile notifications from Outlook and Teams outside your working hours as well as provide personalized insights on how well you are disconnecting. You will also be able to set quiet time directly from Teams and Outlook mobile. Roadmap ID: 85627
  • SharePoint Syntex: Use taxonomy term set or term as input source in placeholders for modern templates – You can associate pre-defined term sets or terms as an input source to the placeholders you create in modern templates. When users fill the placeholder for creating a document from the template, you can only choose values from the configured term set for that placeholder. Roadmap ID:88938

  • 🆕 SharePoint: Updated SharePoint app bar my sites for GCC High and DoD environments – The My sites panel in the SharePoint app bar will include sites that users frequently access and follow. This change will populate the sites panel in GCC High and DoD environments. Roadmap ID: 93181

Release – September 2022

  • SharePoint: Security- Granular conditional access policies – Admins will have the ability to use Azure AD conditional access policies to trigger multi-factor authentication (MFA), device, and location policies on a specific SharePoint site collection by simply attaching CA policies to a label. For example, the Top-Secret label can now have a conditional access policy that requires MFA when accessing a site. Roadmap ID: 82163
