  • Improvements in meetings experience for Safari browser users – Users will no longer be required to use Audio Conferencing to dial into the meeting for audio needs, but rather, can use their device to speak and listen. Roadmap ID: 65090
  • Raise hands in Teams meetings (GCC) – Raise hands feature is now rolling out to GCC customers. Roadmap ID: 64044
  • Microsoft Teams: Graph Resource Specific Consent [BETA] – Your Teams app can now call Teams Graph APIs from the BETA endpoint without needing admin consent. These APIs include creating, renaming, and deleting channels, reading channel messages, creating tabs, and adding/removing members from Teams. Roadmap ID: 56605
  • Group Calling for Safari Browser – Group call functionality for the Safari browser. Roadmap ID: 65330

  • New file sharing experience – You can soon create a shareable link for any file stored in Teams and directly set the appropriate permissions. Additionally, you can also set permissions for files stored in SharePoint or OneDrive while composing a private chat or starting a channel conversation. Roadmap ID: 51230
  • Multi-Window Meetings and Calling experiences – Ability to pop out meetings and calling into separate windows to help users optimize their workflow. Roadmap ID: 57294

  • Android on-demand chat translation – With a simple click, people who speak different languages can fluidly communicate with one another by translating posts in channels and chat. Roadmap ID: 63226
  • Microsoft Lists: Lists app in Microsoft Teams- built on SharePoint – Team members will be able to both create new lists and add existing ones as tabs in Teams’ channels. Roadmap ID: 64162
  • Queue sent messages when offline – When attempting to send messages while offline, Teams will queue messages and send once a network connection is re-established. Roadmap ID: 64687
  • Pinned posts – Users will be able to pin any message in a channel to the channel information pane for all members to see. Roadmap ID: 64334
  • Microsoft Teams for Firstline Workers: On/Off Shift Presence – IT admins can enable Firstline Workers to get shift-based presence (On shift and Off shift). Roadmap ID: 57173
  • Microsoft Information Protection: Teams DLP for Adaptive Cards – Data Loss Prevention for Microsoft Teams now extends to adaptive cards generated for Teams by apps and bots. Teams DLP will support scanning and detecting sensitive information in data embedded in Teams messages. Roadmap ID: 67093
  • New Teams meeting pre-join experience – The new -rejoin screen includes easier discovery for audio, video, and device selection configurations before joining a Teams meeting. Roadmap ID: 67089
  • Spotlight an individual video participant for all attendees in a Teams meeting – Microsoft are delivering the ability for presenters to lock on an individual video feed for all attendees to see during a Teams meeting. Roadmap ID: 67090
  • Microsoft Teams: Enable tenant administrators to configure masking of PSTN participant phone numbers – Tenants with Audio Conferencing enabled will be able to define how Audio Conferencing participants’ phone numbers appear in the roster view for meetings scheduled within their organization: masked to external users, masked for everyone, or off (visible to everyone).   • Microsoft Teams: Customizable Praise Badges – Ability to create custom Praise badges (title, colors, images, language) that expresses company culture. Roadmap ID: 64978
  • Data loss prevention and Microsoft Teams – Data loss prevention (DLP) capabilities in Microsoft 365 government clouds will be extended to include Microsoft Teams chat and channel messages, including private channel messages. Roadmap ID: 65383
  • Device tagging functionality – As part of enhanced manageability, we are releasing Device Tagging functionality. It will enable IT admins to group specific set of devices with user generated Tags and perform actions. Roadmap ID: 66922
  • Microsoft Information Protection: Data loss prevention for Microsoft Teams (GCC-High and DoD) – Data loss prevention (DLP) capabilities in Microsoft 365 government clouds will be extended to include Microsoft Teams chat and channel messages, including private channel messages.
