  • Microsoft Information Protection: Data-at-Rest Encryption for Microsoft 365 in DoD and GCC-High – Data at rest encryption for Microsoft 365 provides customer key based encryption across multiple M365 workloads. Tenant administrators can configure a single data encryption policy using customer managed keys and assign it to the tenant. Roadmap ID: 68870
  • Microsoft 365 compliance center: Advanced eDiscovery: Case limit enhancements – Advanced eDiscovery is expanding the limits for collection size, review set volume, and export. The limits expansion increases the collection size from 300GB currently to 1TB and expands the review set capacity as well to accommodate large case volumes. Export limits will be increased to 5M documents or 500GB, whichever is smaller. This is currently available in public preview. Roadmap ID: 85630
  • Microsoft 365 compliance center: Advanced eDiscovery – Historical versions – Now eDiscovery admins can designate specific SharePoint Online or OneDrive for Business sites to enable for historical versions functionality. This capability will enable organizations to quickly search across not only the current version of documents, but all the versions of the document.   Roadmap ID:81898
  • Microsoft 365 compliance center: Advanced Audit – Search term events in Exchange Online and SharePoint Online for DoD – Addition of Advanced Audit events that provide information on when and what a user searched for in Exchange Online and SharePoint Online. Feature ID:81969
  • Microsoft Information Protection: Exact Data Match to support Customer Managed Key – Customers will be able to encrypt Exact Data Match (EDM) data using their own Customer Managed Key (CMK), further enhancing EDM data security. EDM content that is encrypted using the CMK includes the data file schemas, rule packages, and the salts, which are used in hashing the sensitive data being protected. Feature ID:81988
  • Microsoft 365 compliance center: Insider risk management – Healthcare connector and policy template – New healthcare policy template with built-in indicators that leverages data from Epic and other electronic medical records (EMR) solutions – using our Data Connectors – to help healthcare companies identify potential insider risks related to patient data misuse. Insider Risk Management in Microsoft 365 correlates various signals from the chip to the cloud to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, security and policy violations, and more. Feature ID:82153

  • 🆕 Microsoft Defender for Endpoint: Endpoint discovery for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint in GCC-H – Endpoint Discovery and Network Device Assessment Jobs for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint enables organizations to discover and secure unmanaged endpoints. Once discovered integrated workflows can be used to secure the devices using Defender for Endpoint’s threat and vulnerability management, threat detection and automated incident responses capabilities.   • 🆕 Microsoft 365 compliance center: Advanced eDiscovery – Hold reports – Out-of-the-box reports that contain information about all legal holds associated with eDiscovery cases in the Microsoft 365 compliance center. Sort and filter your view based on various criteria and download the aggregated information for further analysis. Roadmap ID: 88540
  • Microsoft Compliance center: Information governance – Retention policies for Yammer – This update enables organizations to apply retention policies on Yammer messages. Roadmap ID: 82055

  • 🆕 Microsoft 365 compliance center: Information governance: Retention label deletion behavior change in SharePoint for Government clouds – Improved consistency of user experience between OneDrive and SharePoint, allowing users to “delete” files labeled with a retention label configured to “retain items for a specific period” as this operation is no longer blocked with an error message. When deleted, these files will still be preserved for compliance purposes by moving a copy of them to the “Preservation Hold Library” of the site where they can be accessed by eDiscovery and other compliance solutions.   • 🆕 Microsoft 365 compliance center: Advanced eDiscovery – Communication templates and issuing officer settings – Create communication templates and then simply select one to quickly draft your hold notifications. Add attorneys as issuing officers for your organization to send hold notifications on behalf of, without adding them as case members. Roadmap ID: 88813
  • 🆕 Microsoft 365 compliance center: Advanced eDiscovery – Enhanced import custodians wizard experience – The new import custodians wizard empowers eDiscovery managers to quickly validate and remediate any errors in their CSV file before submitting custodian import jobs. Roadmap ID: 88814
