• Microsoft Teams: Unified Agent and App Installation Management Across Microsoft 365 and Teams Admin Center – Administrators using the Microsoft 365 admin center and Teams admin center will be able to apply app and agent installation changes once and have them consistently enforced across Teams, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Previously, installation changes made in the Microsoft 365 admin center only applied to Outlook and Microsoft 365, while changes made in the Teams admin center only applied to Teams. With this update, app and agent installation is unified across all supported surfaces, enabling a more consistent and streamlined admin experience. • Microsoft Teams: Enhanced bookable desk experience with Teams panel-based desk dock devices – Users have better experiences in flexible work environments with Microsoft Teams panel-based desk dock devices coming later this year. The Teams panel app now enables devices, such as the Yealink Linkhub, to enhance bookable desk experiences by indicating at-a-glance availability and letting visitors book directly on the device. These agents increase employee productivity by bringing their everyday applications into the flow of work in Teams. • Microsoft Viva: Campaigns Hub in Engage and Engage in Teams mobile – The Campaigns Hub in Viva Engage provides a centralized mobile destination where employees can discover and participate in organizational campaigns. • Microsoft Teams: Events in Meet app in Teams in GCC – Users can now use the Teams Meet app to discover events across their organization, track what important events are upcoming, and plan and organize their own professional events. • Microsoft Teams: Hide Organizer Name in Calendar View on Teams Panels and MTR-A. – Admins can now choose whether the organizer name will show up in the calendar view on Teams panels and MTR-Android. In Pro Management Portal, admins can toggle the “Show Organizer Name” setting ON or OFF. On the panel device, admins can toggle the “Show organizer names” setting ON or OFF. On the MTRA console device and All In One Display device, admins can toggle the “Show organizer names on calendar” setting ON or OFF. Based on the selection, the organizer name will or will not be shown on the calendar view on panel and MTRA devices. Available with Teams Rooms Pro and Shared Space licenses. • Microsoft Teams: App centric management in Teams Admin Center to manage the Apps access for tenants, end-users, and groups in DoD – App centric management introduces new admin settings to control who in the tenant can install Teams apps. First, admins can set a default value for new apps that are published to Teams app store. Second, admins can edit the availability of an app to “All users can install,” “Specific users and groups can install,” or “No user can install.” This feature evolves the existing app permission policies and provides admins with the ability to manage access to the app individually. The app permission policies for existing customers are migrated to maintain existing app availability in the tenant. • Microsoft Teams: Granular channel notification controls – Microsoft Teams introduces flexible presets for channel notifications, allowing you to choose between All new messages, @mentions and replies, or Mute. This added flexibility enables you to set notifications to match to your work style and reduce unnecessary distractions. When a participant asks a question (e.g., “What is an LLM?”) and no one answers, Facilitator posts a prompt offering to find an answer. • Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): People Skills- removal and deletion admin control – A new admin control in the People Skills settings lets administrators permanently remove their organization’s People Skills data from the tenant. With this new control, organizations can delete their entire skills library along with all users confirmed, inferred, and imported skills data—giving them full control to offboard from People Skills in support of data governance and compliance needs.
  Once deletion is initiated, skills will no longer appear on user profile cards or be used across Microsoft 365 skills-based experiences such as Copilot and Viva. Users with appropriate permissions will be able to preview relevant files referenced directly within activity explorer in each alert. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements. DSI then automatically gathers the related files that triggered the alerts for review (for example, UserA downloaded a file on 3/1/2026). • Microsoft Purview: Data Loss Prevention- Adaptive Scopes for DLP for SharePoint – Adaptive Scope for SharePoint is a dynamic scoping capability in Microsoft Purview DLP that allows administrators to automatically target DLP policies to the right sites based on attributes such as site URL, site name, or custom site metadata. Unlike static scoping, which requires manually listing sites and maintaining them over time, adaptive scopes continuously evaluate site properties and auto‑include or exclude locations as they evolve. This enables scalable policy deployment, eliminates the 100‑site static policy limit, and delivers granular, and automated targeting.
