  • 🆕 SharePoint: Custom image as Section Background – SharePoint lets you customize the sections backgrounds with your own image. We’ve enhanced the focal point and introduced more settings like fill mode, overlay, opacity to help you adhere to accessibility best practices and make sure that your contents are clear and readable with customized background.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Expanded view for profile card – With the expanded view of the profile card, users will now be able to see a richer view of a person’s profile, such as their contact data, custom properties, and their LinkedIn information. This expansion also enables the user to view richer organization chart information about the person they are interacting with, without leaving the context they are in. Note: The launch state was incorrect and has now been changed to reflect the correct state.   • Microsoft Teams: Updates to Gallery View in Teams Meetings – The updated Gallery View places everyone in tiles of equal size by default (16:9 ratio) whether their video is on or off. Users can also easily change their gallery size, choose to prioritize tiles with video-on, and remove their tile from the main gallery. When a Microsoft Teams Room joins the meeting, video is optimized by enlarging the size by default and users can re-size via the contextual menu. Available only in the new Microsoft Teams experience.   • Microsoft Teams: Ability to set the availability by specific date in Shifts – Currently, we solely permit the frontline workers to establish daily recurring availability.   • Microsoft Teams: Azure protected voicemail on Teams App – Teams users will now have link to their Azure protected voicemails from the Teams App. Users will get notification for the voicemail on the Teams App and can open the attached link to access the voicemail on the web browser.   • Microsoft Teams: Enabling cameras with IntelliFrame and People Recognition experiences in the new Microsoft Teams app – Remote attendees in a hybrid meeting will be able to view multi-stream IntelliFrame video, panoramic room view, and in-room attendees with speaker recognition (including name labels) in the new Teams desktop client.   • Microsoft Teams: Audio and video flyout and settings in Teams meetings – The Audio and Video Flyout is designed to make it easier and more efficient for users to manage their audio and video settings during Teams meetings. Users can easily toggle features on and off with visual indicators for both audio and video settings, eliminating the need to navigate deep into the settings menu to make adjustments.   • Microsoft Teams: Admin setting for uploading files using drag-drop – Admin will be able to control the default content app for local files uploaded using drag-drop in chat and channels.   • Microsoft Teams: Intelligent Meeting Recap on Teams Mobile (Premium) – Intelligent recap is now available on Teams for iOS and Android, so users can access AI-generated meeting notes, AI-generated tasks, and name mentions, and easily browse the meeting recording by speakers.   • Microsoft Teams: Intelligent Meeting Recap for transcript-only meetings (Premium) – Intelligent recap will support meetings with only transcript enabled, and without recording enabled.   • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Apply Purview Message Encryption branding with DLP policy (U.S. Government clouds) – Purview Messaging Encryption supports customized branding templates for encrypted mail sent to external recipients. The functionality is being brought to Data Loss Prevention from Exchange mail flow rule.   • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – Configure policy tips as popups for labeled emails and attachments (U.S. Government clouds) – Configure DLP rules that display warnings in a popup dialog before sending emails. With this capability, admins can set up rules to provide warnings, require business justifications, or request explicit acknowledgements before sending emails.   • 🆕 Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – Enhanced Classification Support for Thai language in Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive – In our continued efforts to enhance classification capabilities, we have added a new feature, Word-Breaker, to our existing Thai Language support in Classification. Words in Thai language sentences do not have spaces between them. And for classification purpose, we relied on the right keywords to be added while creating Sensitive Information Type for ensuring accurate match. However, with this feature, spaces will be added automatically in keywords which will ensure higher match accuracy across all cloud locations (Exchange, Teams, One Drive, SharePoint).   • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Sensitivity analysis for policy tuning – With this update, admins with appropriate permissions will have the ability to view a sensitivity analysis, which shows the  count of users in the organization that would meet specific indicator thresholds. The sensitivity analysis is presented as a bar chart, with potential inputs of an indicator threshold on the x-axis and the corresponding count of users on the y-axis. Admins can utilize this chart to make informed decisions on which threshold to apply for each indicator.
