          • Microsoft Teams: Intelligent recap support for ad-hoc meetings and calls – Intelligent recap is available for ad-hoc meetings and calls, like those started from ‘Meet now’ and started from chat. Now, Teams Premium and Copilot for Microsoft 365 licensed users can easily browse the recording by speakers and topics, as well as access AI-generated notes, AI-generated tasks, and name mentions after the ad-hoc meeting ends.           • Microsoft Teams: Brand Impersonation Protection for Teams Messaging – Identify if an external user is impersonating a brand commonly targeted by phishing attacks, during their initial contact with an enterprise user via Teams messages.           • Microsoft Teams: 3×3 video gallery on dual displays for Teams Rooms on Android – Dual display rooms are now capable of presenting up to 18 videos (3×3 on each screen) when no content is being shared during meetings.           • Microsoft Teams: App centric management in Teams Admin Center to manage the Apps access for tenants, end-users, and groups – App centric management introduces new admin settings to control who in the tenant can install Teams apps. First, admins can set a default value for new apps that are published to Teams app store. Second, admins can edit the availability of an app to ‘All users can install’, ‘Specific users and groups can install’, or ‘No user can install’. This feature evolves the existing app permission policies and provides admins with the ability to manage access to the app individually.               •  Microsoft 365 app: Microsoft Places – Space analytics with Copilot – In space analytics, use Copilot to analyze and explain key data points and trends in your space utilization graphs. It compares current utilization metrics such as occupancy, desk usage, and room bookings against previous time periods (e.g. last month, last quarter), highlighting important changes and trends.               • Microsoft Teams: End the Session for Attendees and Presenters Return to Green Room – Organizers and presenters can now end the session with this new “End Event” button for town halls, webinars, and structured meetings. After selecting this button, attendees will see a message on stage stating that the session has concluded, and presenters will return to the Green Room.               • Microsoft Teams: Together Mode New Flow – Together mode will get a new simplified flow which will take the user from the beginning to the end through the steps of setting up the scene, assigning the seats and applying for everyone in the call in a transparent and easy-to-understand way. The function itself does not change but there will be more transparency thanks to the icons on the meeting toolbar for an easy access for each next step in the familiar Together mode flow.               • Microsoft Teams: Navigate meetings and messages hands-free with Teams in CarPlay – Stay connected on the move with Teams in CarPlay.               • Microsoft Teams: Shifts Graph APIs in beta moved to production (v1.0) – We are excited to announce that the Shifts Graph APIs have transitioned from beta to production.               • Microsoft Teams: Teams meeting Notes now available in Microsoft Teams for Education – Teams meeting Notes, powered by Loop, is now available in Microsoft Teams for Education. Notes are Loop components in Teams meetings and chats that allow end users to co-create and collaborate on their meeting agenda, notes, and action items that can be co-authored and edited by everyone. Since Notes are Loop components, they stay in sync across all the places they have been shared. Assigned Tasks automatically sync with ToDo and Planner.               • Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Copilot in Teams meetings for GCC – Copilot helps you run more effective meetings, get up to speed on the conversation, organize key discussion points, and summarize key actions so it’s clear what you need to do next. Users can type any question or use predetermined prompts during or after the meeting, and their interactions with Copilot are only visible to them. This feature is already available in worldwide multitenant and will now be available for customers in GCC.                 •  Microsoft Teams: Facilitator agent notetaking in meetings and chats – The Facilitator agent takes real-time notes during your Teams meetings and chats. It synthesizes key information from the conversations, so you can catch up quickly. In meetings, it allows everyone to co-author and collaborate seamlessly.                 •  Microsoft Teams: Wired headset support for the Walkie Talkie app on iOS – This feature adds the wired support to Walkie Talkie on iOS.                   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Speaker recognition and attribution in Teams Rooms on Android – You can now take advantage of speaker recognition, transcript attribution, and AI capabilities in Teams Rooms on Android. Intelligent speaker functionalities are brought to existing speakers via the cloud. This feature identifies and attributes people in live transcripts, utilizing a unique voice profile for each participant enabling intelligent recaps and maximum value from Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams Premium in meetings. Users can easily and securely enroll voices via Teams Settings. This feature requires a Teams Rooms Pro license.                   •  Microsoft Teams: Queues App to add Monitor Whisper Barge and Takeover – Authorized users will be able to enter into a monitoring session with selected agents for private coaching. They can listen to customer calls, whisper to the agents for private message, even barge into or takeover the call.                   • Microsoft Teams: Auto detection of room audio in BYOD rooms expanded to audio devices with video – The room audio auto-detect and pre-select feature for BYOD rooms that was released in October 2024 now activates the video component of composite audio-video peripherals as the selected camera in Teams.                   • Microsoft Teams: Updates to Gallery View in Teams Rooms on Windows – The updated Gallery View in Teams Rooms on Windows arranges all participants in consistent tile sizes, prioritizes video on the meeting stage, offers additional layout options, optimizes for single and dual displays, and provides a unified meeting experience across both Teams Rooms and desktop.                                 • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Communication Compliance – Empower end users to report inappropriate posts and comments in Viva Engage – Microsoft Viva Engage users are empowered to report inappropriate or concerning posts and comments within Viva Engage conversations. These reported posts are then submitted to a Communication Compliance policy for designated investigators with the appropriate role-based access control permissions to review and take action if deemed necessary. Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance provides the tools to help organizations detect regulatory compliance violations (e.g. SEC or FINRA), such as sensitive or confidential information, harassing or threatening language, and sharing of adult content. Built with privacy by design, usernames are pseudonymized by default, role-based access controls are built in, investigators are opted in by an admin, and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.                                 • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Admin Units support in Data Loss Prevention and Information Protection – With this capability organizations will be able to delegate management and remediation authority for different people in different regions or organization units with role-based access control (RBAC) via Azure Active Directory Administrative Units.                                 • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Apply Purview Message Encryption branding with DLP policy – Purview Messaging Encryption supports customized branding templates for encrypted mail sent to external recipients. The functionality is being brought to Data Loss Prevention from Exchange mail flow rule. In addition, DLP policies provide additional configuration to control whether Microsoft 365 external recipients will be able to view the encrypted mail inline using Outlook or the encrypted portal experience.                                 • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Audit (Premium) – Customized retention policies for 10-Year Audit Log Retention Add On – This feature will enable customers with the 10-Year Audit Log Retention Add On for Microsoft Purview Audit (Premium) to create additional customized retention policies.                                   •  Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Modern eDiscovery in new Microsoft Purview Portal – Introducing a modernized user interface for key eDiscovery workflows, with simplified creation for cases, searches, and holds. Enhanced data source management allows for easy mapping of all data locations for users, groups, or Teams, with the ability to query location changes and frequent collaborator mapping. New search features include the ability to conduct precise searches using identifier (message ID), sensitivity labels, audit log, or evidence file. View key search statistics trends, including top data sources, sensitive information types, and content types. Long-running processes such as add to review and export now provide full visibility on progress and ETA, with detailed reporting on settings, query input, and item-level location reporting upon completion.                                   • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – New Insider Risk Management Reporting Capabilities – Insider risk management is introducing one central location for all reports including analytics and user activity reports. Additional reports will also be available that will summarize trends in alerts generated and cases created. Sample reports include alerts generated over time, alerts actioned over time, alerts and cases generated by region and department, top triggering events of alerts generated, and average time to triage alerts and cases. The ability to filter reports will also be introduced. Users with the admin, analyst or investigator role will have access to view the new Alerts & cases report. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.                                     • 🆕 Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Endpoint Data Loss Prevention – Device and Device group-based policy scoping support for Endpoint DLP – Currently, you can create a Purview Endpoint DLP policy and assign it to specific users or user groups. This feature will allow you to create and release features based on both users and machines. You can use this feature to achieve different policies for the same user on different devices.                                     • 🆕 Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Endpoint Data Loss Prevention – Add Allow/Off mode for each Action type overall enforcement – With Off, Endpoint DLP will not fire any event/Alert and will not trigger any toast. The customer can use this enforcement mode to have restriction for a specific group. With Allow, Endpoint DLP will not fire any Alert and will not trigger any toast but will fire an event on Activity Explorer.                                     • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Entra compromised user signals in IRM – With this feature, IRM analysts can identify if the user being investigated has any compromised user alerts in Microsoft Entra. This will help them formulate the right response action, like escalating the Incident to SOC teams for quick remediation, etc.   Microsoft Entra offers two types of compromised user detections. 1. Sign in risk detections: compromise risk associated with a specific sign-in. 2. User risk detections: compromise risk associated with a specific user.  Insider risk management admins can opt into each of the above risk detections from Insider risk management global settings. Risk detections will be available in the indicator timeline within the alert investigation experience. Risk detections will not impact the risk score or severity of Insider risk management alerts.  Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations.                                     • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Lifecycle Management – Separation of the Copilot for Microsoft 365 retention policy location from Microsoft Teams chats – Today, admins must manage retention and deletion for Copilot for Microsoft 365 interactions using a retention policy location that also includes Microsoft Teams chats. This feature will provide a new location option to manage only Copilot interactions, separate from Microsoft Teams chats. User analytics will cover all eligible users in the tenant including users not in the scope of any Insider risk management policy. During the initial rollout, user analytics will be enabled by default for all customers who have enabled Insider risk management analytics.
