These selected sites, along with the users’ OneDrive files and content, will then become accessible in search and in the Copilot experiences. • SharePoint: SharePoint Premium content AI Graph API in Beta (formerly known as Syntex) – We are releasing new Graph APIs for SharePoint Premium content AI capabilities in Beta (formerly known as Syntex models). By emphasizing a user-friendly approach that minimizes clicks, it’s now easier to create websites, pages, news, and intranet content. • SharePoint: DocuSign Integration with SharePoint eSignature – SharePoint users who are also DocuSign customers can initiate eSignatures directly from PDF documents. The eSignature request will be processed by DocuSign and a copy of the signed document will be automatically saved in SharePoint after signing. This reduces the risks of potential data leakage that customers often report as they move sensitive documents between SharePoint and 3rd party eSignature platforms. • Microsoft Teams: Programmatic Desktop Sharing – With desktop sharing (made available OOB), meeting presenters can now screen-share all their meeting apps directly onto the stage for improved collaboration. We are introducing programmatic desktop sharing, which allows developers to enable screensharing specific pieces of app content. Unlike the currently existing share to stage functionality, meeting participants cannot interact with the shared app; they have a view-only mode of the presenter’s app screen similar to screen sharing, but in one click. The shared content is also automatically captured in the meeting recording. This works great for co-consumption scenarios and requires little developer investment. • Microsoft Teams: Meet now in Teams group chat – Start a huddle with you colleagues using meet now in group chat. • Microsoft Teams: Limit Presenter Role Permissions – We are introducing a tenant configuration that admins can apply to limit user actions assigned to presenters in meetings. When enabled, presenters will no longer be able to control attendee mics and cameras, change the role of other participants, lower participants’ hands, and remove participants from the meeting. • Microsoft Teams: Watermark support for recording playback (Premium) – Recording can now be enabled for watermarked meetings. An email ID will be displayed as the watermark during the meeting recording playback. • OneDrive: Change to shared folder experience in OneDrive – We’re making a change to the shared folder experience in OneDrive. Currently, when a user opens a shared folder in OneDrive, they are taken to a view of that folder within the sharers OneDrive. In the new experience, opening a shared folder will take the user to the shared folder within the People view of their own OneDrive. • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Progressive alert scoring – this new feature, user activities that could potentially result in data security incidents will be assessed more frequently within a 24-hour period compared with the current practice of once every 24 hours. Alert insights will now be updated every few hours with this increased frequency, providing designated analysts with timely alerts and continuously evolving insights. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements.
