- Microsoft Teams: Teams Button to Join Meeting from Pre-Join Screen – Starting today, users can successfully join and participate in a meeting directly with their Teams Button on their Microsoft Teams certified peripheral. After a user receives a meeting start notification, the user can press the Teams Button to bring up their Meeting Pre-Join Screen. - Microsoft Teams: Teams Button to bring Meeting Stage to foreground during meeting – With this feature, users can bring up the meeting stage to the foreground by pressing their Teams Button during a meeting. This allows users to more quickly return to the meeting stage to review chat discussions or the content being shared, especially if the meeting stage was hidden behind other windows. Note: This feature only applies to devices with dedicated Teams Buttons. If the device has a dual-purpose button (both hookswitch and Teams Button), pressing the button will end the call. - Microsoft Teams: Smart camera controls in Teams Rooms Pro on Android – Smart camera controls allow in-room users to adjust framing of the room camera in a meeting, selecting between a view that automatically centers everyone in the frame or one that zooms in on each person in the room and combines everyone in a single frame. This feature is only available for customers who have purchased the Microsoft Teams Premium add-on offering. - 🆕Microsoft 365 app: Key Document Updates – We will be introducing a feature on the Profile Card as a Highlight that tells users when key collaborators have taken some action on key documents when looking at their profile card. Each collaboration network is a cluster of people, text strings and Microsoft 365 items (key item: documents). The actions that you can see the users in this Collab Network take on these key documents are modify, comment, reply, mention, multiple modifications and shared to you. These updates are only visible to other users within the same Collaboration Network i.e. your close collaborators.
