  • Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Differentiated protection for Priority accounts – We are introducing differentiated protection for Priority accounts, which will provide users tagged as Priority accounts with a higher level of protection. As part of this release, we are introducing a Context filter within Threat Explorer and the Threat Protection Status report through which you can search for emails where Priority account protection is involved. In addition, the Threat Detection Details tab on the Email Entity page will be updated to show the threats, corresponding detection details, and whether these detections were identified as part of Priority account protection. Roadmap ID:88873
  • Microsoft 365 compliance center: Microsoft Purview | Compliance Manager Alerts and notifications for score changes (US Government clouds) – This feature will allow admins to set monitoring policies on top of Compliance Manager activities such as score change, improvement action assignment, and evidence upload. A successful policy match will generate an alert which will allow admins to further investigate. Roadmap ID:88965
  • Microsoft 365 compliance center: Automated testing and documentation of scored actions in Compliance Manager – Automated testing and documentation of scored actions in Compliance Manager with the ability to view or download evidence for an automatically scored action. Roadmap ID:72222

  • Microsoft 365 compliance center: Teams data in Content explorer (US Government clouds) – With the availability of Teams data in Content Explorer, customers will be able to display Sensitive information and Sensitivity labels detected on Teams data within the Content explorer.  Roadmap ID:88840

  • 🆕 Microsoft 365 compliance center: Microsoft Purview | Information Protection – Automatically turn on auto-labeling policy – Admins can configure their auto-labeling policies to be automatically turned on if there aren’t any changes to the policy within a set number of days from simulation completion. This configuration option will be available in the auto-labeling policy setup in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal and via cmdlet. Roadmap ID: 93330
  • Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Quarantine asynchronous update [stage one] – Microsoft Defender for Office 365 is working to enable additional quarantine enhancements, like partial string search functionality and 1,000 message bulk operation support in quarantine. As a result, we’ll be making adjustments to the release process through an asynchronous approach. the first stage will be the introduction of the asynchronous updates and the second stage will the introduction of enhancement features such as partial string search and 1,000 message bulk support. Roadmap ID: 93303

  • 🆕 Microsoft 365 Compliance center: Microsoft Purview | Ability to duplicate Data loss prevention (DLP) policies – Data Loss Prevention (DLP) administrators will be able to clone and edit existing policies seamlessly. Roadmap ID: 93312
  • 🆕 Microsoft 365 compliance center: Microsoft Purview | DLP incident management in Microsoft Defender portal – This feature provides a singular view for incident management across solutions by making the Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention incidents available in the unified incidents queue in the Microsoft Defender portal. In addition, customers can also leverage the M365 Defender connector in Microsoft Sentinel to import all DLP incidents into Sentinel to extend correlation, detection, and investigation across additional Microsoft and non-Microsoft data sources and extend automated orchestration flows using Sentinels native SOAR capabilities.   • Microsoft Compliance center: Additional third-party data connectors (Veritas) – Use data connectors to import and archive third-party data from social media platforms, instant messaging platforms, document collaboration platforms and more, to mailboxes in your Microsoft 365 organization where you can then apply various Microsoft 365 compliance solutions to the imported data. This helps you ensure that your organization’s non-Microsoft data is in compliance with the regulations and standards that affect your organization.
