  • Microsoft Teams: Share to Microsoft Teams from Outlook – Send a copy of email messages or conversations, including attachments, into Teams chats and channels or start a Teams chat related to a specific email message.   • Microsoft Teams: Suggested Replies in chats – Suggested replies presents users with up to three recommended responses to choose from in the context of a chat. This functionality will be enabled by default for teachers and faculty, and completely disabled for all students. Roadmap ID: 82877
  • Microsoft Teams: Direct app purchases and invoice billing support in Teams Admin Center – Admins can complete orders for paid app licenses directly within Teams Admin Center. In addition, invoice billing is a new supported payment method. Roadmap ID: 83144

  • Microsoft Teams: Share to Teams from Outlook – Share to Teams from Outlook allows you to send a copy of email messages or conversations, including attachments, into Teams chats and channels.   • 🆕 Microsoft Viva: Manager insights in Microsoft Viva Insights app, Outlook and Office.com – To empower managers to foster productivity and wellbeing for teams – large or small – new insights and tools are being introduced in the “My team” tab of the Microsoft Viva Insights app in Teams, as well as in manager cards in the daily briefing and monthly digest emails from Microsoft Viva.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Chat with Teams personal account users – Teams users will be able to chat with team members who are outside their work network and have a Teams personal account. This is expanding on external access capabilities, enabling Teams users to invite for a 1:1 or group chat any other federated Teams users using an email address or phone number and remain within the security and compliance policies of their organization. Roadmap ID:88381

  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Check-in and room release for Teams panels – Allow users to “check in” to a meeting room from a Teams panel. If no users check in to the room, the scheduled meeting is removed from the room’s calendar.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Teams devices dashboard for device analytics providing health and usage metrics – Health and usage insights surfaced on a dashboard for Teams devices being managed through the Teams admin center including the ability to export and auto share the insights and set alerts on key metrics to be  notified when attention is required.  Roadmap ID:84533

  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Hot Desking on Teams Display – Hot desking on Teams display allows employees to quickly locate and reserve temporary workspaces to touch down and make calls, set up ad-hoc meetings, or sign in to access their personalized Teams experience.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Mute Notifications During Meetings – Users will be able to mute notifications during meetings thereby helping focus during meetings. A user can choose to mute notifications for all meetings or per meeting basis.    Roadmap ID:87452
  • Microsoft Teams: Updated companion mode for iOS users – For a better hybrid meeting experience, Teams users on their iPhone can use a single tap to join a meeting on both their device and Microsoft Teams Room. Audio on their device will be automatically turned off to ensure echo doesn’t happen. Roadmap ID:87869
  • Microsoft Teams: Pin your own video in Teams meetings – Currently, users can pin video feeds to increase the size of the desired video on their own screen. Now, we have expanded the ability for users to pin their own video on the stage as well. This way, users can also see their own video in the increased size on their screen. Roadmap ID:86342
  • Microsoft Teams: Hide your own video in Teams meeting – Currently, the user’s video is displayed at the bottom right corner of the meeting screen. This feature allows users to hide their own video during a meeting.   • Microsoft Teams: Breakout Room Presenter support for DoD – Extend the management of Breakout Rooms to specific presenters. Roadmap ID:85326
  • Microsoft Teams: Walkie Talkie on Teams phones – Like traditional walkie talkies, the Walkie Talkie app on your Teams phones provides an instant push-to-talk (PTT) communication for your team. It allows you to press and hold a button to speak to your team, and release the button to listen. Users can connect with their team using the Teams channels. Roadmap ID:83653
  • Microsoft Teams: 1:1 VOIP and PSTN Call Recording and Transcription In Call App V2 – 1:1 VOIP and PSTN Call Recording and Transcription will now show in the Calls App, in the “call details” panel.  This feature permits users to view call recordings and transcriptions for both PSTN and VoIP calls.  Users have the option to delete call recordings, removing them from the call history in “call details” panel. If there are multiple recordings of a call, each call recording will appear in a list in call history, in the “call details” panel.  Roadmap ID:83497
  • Microsoft Teams: Transcription for 1:1 Calls – Transcription captures the text version of your Call and saves it for later use. This can be enabled via the control bar within the Call window. Roadmap ID:68774

  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Chat density  – Customize the number of chat messages you see on the screen. Use the compact setting to fit 50 percent more messages on the screen. Comfortable setting keeps the chat display as it is in Teams today.    Roadmap ID:88064
  • Microsoft Teams: Admin notifications for Custom app submissions – When a developer submits a custom app for IT admin approval, admins will receive a notification in a dedicated Teams channel, so they can review and take next steps to publish the app. Roadmap ID:82512
  • Microsoft Teams: Pin chat messages – Pin a Teams chat message to drive awareness and provide the chat members with quick access to important content. Pinning will help your team stay in sync on what’s and relevant in a timely manner. Roadmap ID:82584
  • Microsoft Teams: Parent connection in Teams for Education – With Parent connection in Teams for Education, educators can easily connect and engage with the parents and guardians of their class using Teams chat. All parent and guardian data is provisioned using School Data Sync, saving educators and IT staff valuable time. Roadmap ID:83593

  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Delay delivery of chat messages  – You can send out a chat message in a time that is convenient to you, and the message will arrive to its destination at the time you scheduled.  Roadmap ID:88281
  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Workspace Management – Workspace Management is a new feature within Teams Admin Center that provides an integrated view of Teams devices and peripherals based on their location, along with relevant insights. This capability provides IT admins the ability to manage connected devices, and monitor workspace health, utilization and conformance to standards at any location. Roadmap ID:88326

  • 🆕 Microsoft Viva: Effective meetings in Viva Insights – A new “Effective meetings” experience is being introduced in the Microsoft Viva Insights app in Microsoft Teams. Meeting organizers will be able to view personalized insights and suggestions to help improve their meeting habits. Users will also be able to create and share meeting plans to set team meeting norms such as shorter meetings by default and always including Teams links.  Roadmap ID:85660
  • Microsoft Teams: Global sign in and sign out – Teams iOS app will support Global sign-in and sign-out to simplify the experience for Frontline Workers. Employees can now use any device from the shared device pool to sign in with their credentials and sign out of it at the end of the shift. This will remove all their personal and company information from the device. Roadmap ID:85736
  • Microsoft Teams: Direct guest join for Zoom and Webex meetings on video-enabled certified Teams Android devices – Direct guest join (aka Third-party meeting join) is an ability to join meetings of other meeting providers from Microsoft Teams. Third-party meetings will appear on the Teams calendar and users will be able to join them the same way they join any other Teams meeting. This functionality will be limited to video-enabled certified Teams Android devices and will support only Zoom and Webex meetings. Roadmap ID:81482
  • Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Teams Connect – With Microsoft Teams Connect we are making it easier to collaborate with anyone outside your organization. You can use Team’s full suite of collaboration capabilities with external partners in other Azure AD orgs the same way you use them with colleagues from your organization.  Shared channels enables people from different orgs to work together as one team in a shared space for a more structured, deeper and longer-term collaboration.  Roadmap ID:70766
  • Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Teams Connect in Teams Admin Center – With Microsoft Teams Connect we are making it easier to collaborate with anyone outside your organization. Admins can manage the Shared channel lifecycle and membership from the Teams admin center.  They can also use a Teams policy to decide who can create shared channels and who can invite external users to a shared channel.  Roadmap ID:70779
