  • Microsoft Cloud App Security: MFA step-up auth – This feature enables enforcing of conditional access policies during a user session. For example, if a user attempts to download a sensitive document to an unmanaged device, they can be prompted to satisfy an MFA challenge. Status is specific to Preview. Roadmap ID:70603
  • Microsoft 365 compliance center: Microsoft Purview | eDiscovery (Premium) – Hold reports (US Government clouds) – Out-of-the-box reports that contain information about all legal holds associated with eDiscovery cases in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal. Sort and filter your view based on various criteria and download the aggregated information for further analysis. Status is specific to Preview. Roadmap ID:88831
  • Microsoft Purview | Information Protection: Office for the web can limit copy to clipboard for encrypted files – Office for the web will begin respecting the Microsoft Purview Information Protection encryption setting that limits users’ ability to copy content to the clipboard. Roadmap ID:98919
  • Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Expansion for URL Click Alert policy – We are expanding coverage of the malicious URL click alert. The alert will now include any clicks in the past 48 hours (for emails) from the time the malicious URL verdict is identified. Roadmap ID:93300
  • Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Redirecting users to Microsoft 365 Defender (GCC, GCC High, DoD) – We will begin automatically redirecting users in government cloud environments accessing the security-related capabilities in the Office 365 Security and Compliance center to Microsoft 365 Defender. These include capabilities in the Threat Management section, Alerts, Threat Management dashboard and Reports. Items in the Office 365 Security and Compliance Center that are not related to security are not redirected to Microsoft 365 Defender.   • Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Actions from the email entity page – We are adding the ability to take actions from the email entity page. You can take email purge actions, create submissions, tenant level block actions (block sender/domain/file/URLs), investigative actions from email entity page. Roadmap ID:93295

  • Microsoft Defender for Office 365: ZAP (zero-hour auto purge) alert enhancements – We are enhancing the successful ZAP (zero-hour auto purge) alert and introducing a new ZAP failure alert.   Roadmap ID:93206
  • Microsoft Purview | Information Protection: New out-of-the-box trainable classifiers with auto-labeling support – Utilize several new pre-trained and ready-to-use trainable classifiers to discover and auto-classify sensitive content across multiple common business functions (such as finance, HR, healthcare, legal, procurement, and IT), as well as more granular sensitive document categories including IP/trade secrets such as product development files, strategic planning documents, A files, and personal financial information. These classifiers can be applied as conditions in Data Lifecycle Management retention policies and Data Loss Prevention policies. Roadmap ID:98099

  • 🆕 Microsoft Purview | eDiscovery (Premium): List, collection, and jobs usability enhancement – This batch of usability updates includes UX indication of case format, list page title, description, empty/error state improvement, addition of job duration time, and additional collection-related enhancements such as including review set name in collection detail and ability to save collection in its draft state.   • Microsoft Purview | Information Protection: Auto labeling (for files at rest in SharePoint Online) can now label PDF files – This feature enables you to label PDF files at rest via the auto-labeling engine as you would Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files. Roadmap ID:85618

  • Microsoft Information Protection: Microsoft Purview | SIT Feedback Loop for Content explorer and DLP alerts – Now available in public preview, admins can provide feedback for sensitive information type (SIT) False Positives via Content explorer and DLP Alerts. This feedback can be provided in a compliant manner and users can see a summary view of the feedback in the SIT overview page. The feedback will be used to make systematic fixes to SITs for improved accuracy. Roadmap ID:93210
