  • Microsoft Teams: Search in Teams Admin Center (Preview) – Admins can search for users, teams, pages and settings using a common search box in Teams admin center.  Roadmap ID:83671
  • Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Teams panels Check in notifications to Microsoft Teams Rooms – For Teams panels deployment with Microsoft Teams Rooms, when this feature is enabled, checking in on Teams panels will send a notification to the Teams Rooms front of room display to inform the people in the room that their meeting room reservation is over and others are waiting for the room outside. Roadmap ID: 86719
  • Microsoft Teams: End-to-end encryption for one-to-one Teams calls for GCCH and DoD – End-to-end encryption is the encryption of information at its origin and decryption at its intended destination without the ability for intermediate nodes to decrypt. End-to-end encryption would be an optional mode of real-time media collaboration where one-to-one Teams calls between two parties would be end-to-end encrypted. Roadmap ID:89249
  • Microsoft Teams Rooms Managed Services: Managed Firmware Updates(Additional OEMs) – Support Firmware Updates to cover additional OEMs and device types. Roadmap ID: 81908

  • Microsoft Teams: Embedded CART captioning support for Teams meetings for GCC-High and DOD – Teams meetings now support integration with real-time captioning providers and CART writers (Communication Access Real-Time Transcription) so that users who utilize CART captions can view the captions in the same window as their meeting. Roadmap ID:83614
  • Microsoft Teams: Share the system audio from meetings on web – Users in a Teams meeting on web can now share audio while screen sharing. Roadmap ID: 84175
  • Microsoft Teams: Presenter mode: Controls to move and resize presenter video – Presenter mode video controls enable presenters to move and resize presenter video feed and automatically adjusts content size accordingly. This can be applied to all modes on Desktop or Window sharing including standout, side-by-side, and reporter. Roadmap ID:88566
  • Microsoft Teams: Teams device store in Teams admin center – Teams device store provides direct procurement through Teams admin center, where admins can discover, purchase and provision Teams certified devices. The functionality will be available to small and medium sized organizations in US and Canada. This will be extended to more customers in the future. Roadmap ID:91090

  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Policy operations details in enhanced activity log – Admins can see group policy assignments in activity log along with other policy operations. Activity log has now enhanced details regarding a policy operation to give admins more visibility. Roadmap ID: 90712
  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Custom Banner for Emergency Calling – Admins can now inform their users about emergency calling through a customizable disclaimer banner that will appear in the Calls app. Users will be able to acknowledge the message by clicking on the banner. Roadmap ID: 93054
  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Teams admin center- Enhancement to end-user call management – A new update to Teams admin center will extend the ability of an Admin to configure the call management capabilities for end-users. The existing call management capabilities of call delegation and group call pickup are being extended to also include the ability to manage an end-user’s call forwarding and simultaneous ringing settings as well.   • Microsoft Teams: Manage What Attendees See (Preview) – Attendees will only see shared content and presenters that you bring on screen.  Roadmap ID:86818

Release – June 2022

  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Support of Transcription for Teams for Azure Virtual Desktop on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure – Users on Virtual machines can use transcription once the feature is available. Live transcripts provide way to follow along with what has been said and who said it. After a meeting, the transcript file is automatically saved in the chat tab for that meeting. Roadmap ID: 87571

  • Microsoft Teams: RTMP-In for Teams Live Events – Produce your Teams Live Events using an external encoder  and leverage RTMP-in to broadcast to your Teams Live Event Attendees. Roadmap ID:84960
