  • Microsoft Viva: Productivity and wellbeing insights for managers and leaders – Wellbeing and productivity insights – powered by Workplace Analytics – are coming to Microsoft Teams. Group managers and business leaders will get insights personalized to their role with recommended actions to make changing habits and improving productivity and wellbeing easier. Roadmap ID:68746
  • Microsoft Teams: Forms Integration with Microsoft Bookings – Associate Forms templates to Booking services to send forms for data intake from attendees prior to joining a Booking appointment. Roadmap ID:87607
  • Microsoft Teams: Virtual Visits usage report in Teams Admin Center – The Virtual Visits usage report in the Microsoft Teams admin center gives you an overview of Teams Virtual Visits activity in your organization for Global Admins and Teams Admin. Customer can view detailed activity for virtual appointments scheduled through the Bookings app and the Microsoft Teams Electronic Health Records (EHR) connector. Roadmap ID:88792
  • Microsoft Teams: Message extension entry point for Workflows in Teams – Chat/Channel/Teams based workflows are a powerful tool for collaboration and efficiency. With message extension based entry point, users can view/search for applicable workflows as well as trigger pre-configured workflows from the message extension menu. Roadmap ID:92454
  • Microsoft Teams: AAD conditional access support for Teams rooms on Windows – Microsoft Teams rooms on Windows now support Azure Active directory conditional access support. Admins can configure Teams rooms device’s access to Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Exchange online services based on device compliance status. In addition, to make it simpler for our customers, Azure Active Directory Premium 1 license is added to the Room System Standard and Room System Premium and variations of these SKUs for education, government customers. Detailed documentation on how to configure Teams rooms on Windows to use AAD conditional access feature will be published to give IT admins head start for configuring it. Roadmap ID:89068
  • Microsoft Teams: Manage tags in Teams programmatically – Microsoft Teams Tags APIs are now in public preview – This set of APIs can be used to programmatically assign users tags in a team, making tag creation and maintenance faster and easier. Tags in Teams let users quickly reach a group of people without having to @mention or type out everyone individually. Users can use tags to start a chat or by @mentioning a tag in a channel post. For more information on tag in teams, see Using tags in Teams. Using these new APIs, developers can now: create tags in a team and assign users,  get a list of tags in a team, update tags or delete tags. Roadmap ID:81093

  • Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Teams Connect (Shared Channels) – With Microsoft Teams Connect we are making it easier to collaborate with anyone outside your organization. You can use Team’s full suite of collaboration capabilities with external partners in other Azure AD orgs the same way you use them with colleagues from your organization.  Shared channels enables people from different orgs to work together as one team in a shared space for a more structured, deeper and longer-term collaboration.   • Microsoft Teams: Embedded CART captioning support for Teams meetings for GCC-High and DOD – Teams meetings now support integration with real-time captioning providers and CART writers (Communication Access Real-Time Transcription) so that users who utilize CART captions can view the captions in the same window as their meeting. Roadmap ID:83614
  • Microsoft Teams: Auto-Expiration of Meeting Recordings stored on OneDrive and SharePoint – Newly created Teams meeting recordings in OneDrive and SharePoint will be automatically deleted by the service based on a default Teams policy setting. Teams Admins will be able to modify the default meeting recording expiration time via a setting in the Teams Admin Portal or by modifying policy attributes using Powershell scripts. Newly created meeting recordings in OneDrive & SharePoint will be automatically deleted after this point unless the meeting owner extends the expiration.  Meeting owners will be notified about expired recordings and may extend the expiration date in OneDrive/SharePoint. Compliance policies will override the expiration setting. Roadmap ID:84580
  • Microsoft Teams: Automated webinar invite – When webinars are setup and scheduled, the webinar invite is now automatically added to the attendee’s calendar. Roadmap ID:85737
  • Microsoft Teams: Customer Lockbox for Microsoft Teams – Customer Lockbox ensures that Microsoft cannot access your content to perform a service operation without your explicit approval. Customer Lockbox brings you into the approval workflow for requests to access your content. Customer Lockbox is already available for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. This update brings the capability to Microsoft Teams as well. Roadmap ID:86190
  • Microsoft Teams: Domain Customization for Webinar Communications – Showcase your organization’s brand in webinar communications. When webinar emails are sent to attendees, both the sender name and email domain will now reflect the tenant name, making it easier for attendees to recognize. Roadmap ID:86896
  • Microsoft Teams: Large Gallery for Teams on VDI in Government Clouds – By default, Teams Meetings supports up to 9 videos in Gallery. Now, using Large Gallery, users can view up to 49 videos at once in meetings on virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). Roadmap ID:93000
  • Microsoft Teams: Together Mode for Teams on VDI in Government Clouds – Together Mode lets you see all your colleagues against a shared background, making you feel like you are all ‘together’ in a virtual online room. Now available in meetings on virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). Roadmap ID:93001
  • Microsoft Teams: Large Gallery for web for GCC-High and DoD – By default, Teams Meetings supports up to 9 videos in Gallery. Now, using Large Gallery, users can view up to 49 videos at once in meetings. Roadmap ID:93012

  • Microsoft Teams: Usability improvements to informational messages in meetings for iOS –         Notification drawer for in-meeting informational   messages, so users can preview, collapse and clear all notifications with one tap. Roadmap ID:86957
  • Microsoft Teams: Usability improvements to informational messages in meetings for Android –         Notification drawer for in-meeting informational   messages, so users can preview, collapse and clear all notifications with one tap. Roadmap ID:86958
  • Microsoft Teams: Voice enabled channels for GCC H and DoD – We added the ability to use a Teams channel with members as call agents for call queue call answering.  Now we are bringing this capability to GCC H and DoD. Roadmap ID:80117
  • Microsoft Teams: Dynamic Caller ID for Voice enabled channels, now available for GCC High and DoD – Last year we enabled the capability where agents can use Dynamic Caller ID to call on behalf of a Call Queue from within Voice Enabled Channels.  We are now bringing this capability to Government clouds including GCC High and DoD.  Roadmap ID:89290
  • Microsoft Teams: User request flows for blocked apps – Enable users to discover Teams apps in the store and request approval from administrators. Roadmap ID:84469
  • Microsoft Teams: New Lobby Setting: Only Invited Users join directly for GCC – A new lobby setting is coming to Teams Meeting Options. We are adding “People I Invite” as an option to the “Who can bypass lobby?” setting. Once enabled, only the participants invited by the organizer in meeting invite will be able to join the meeting directly. Everyone else will be sent to the lobby. Item has been delayed and is being rescheduled Roadmap ID:86069

  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Co-organizer Meeting Role – Organizers will now be able to share control by assigning the new “Co-organizer” role to people they invite. Co-organizers will have almost all of the capabilities of the organizer, including management of Meeting Options. Roadmap ID:81391
  • Microsoft Teams: Approvals Templates for GCC-High and DoD – User can simply choose a template provided by their tenant admins or a Team Owner when creating a new approval request. Roadmap ID:81658
  • Microsoft Teams: Manage meeting options for DoD – Organizers will now be able to modify the user experience, or customize the safety and security settings for their meetings using the new “Meeting Options” feature. Roadmap ID:72169

  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Modern meeting experience on the web – The modern meeting and calling experience will be available for Teams on the web in Chrome and Edge browsers – including improved pre-join, dynamic view, and the updated control bar.  Roadmap ID:92928
  • Microsoft Teams: Integrated CART captioning in meetings on Web – Users will now be able to view captions coming from a CART provider (real-time captioning) within the Microsoft Teams meeting on Chrome and Edge.   • Microsoft Teams: RTMP-In for Teams Live Events – Produce your Teams Live Events using an external encoder  and leverage RTMP-in to broadcast to your Teams Live Event Attendees. Roadmap ID:84960
