• Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Teams Connect (Shared Channels) – With Microsoft Teams Connect we are making it easier to collaborate with anyone outside your organization. You can use Team’s full suite of collaboration capabilities with external partners in other Azure AD orgs the same way you use them with colleagues from your organization.  Shared channels enables people from different orgs to work together as one team in a shared space for a more structured, deeper and longer-term collaboration. • Microsoft Teams: Embedded CART captioning support for Teams meetings for GCC-High and DOD – Teams meetings now support integration with real-time captioning providers and CART writers (Communication Access Real-Time Transcription) so that users who utilize CART captions can view the captions in the same window as their meeting. • Microsoft Teams: Auto-Expiration of Meeting Recordings stored on OneDrive and SharePoint – Newly created Teams meeting recordings in OneDrive and SharePoint will be automatically deleted by the service based on a default Teams policy setting. Teams Admins will be able to modify the default meeting recording expiration time via a setting in the Teams Admin Portal or by modifying policy attributes using Powershell scripts. Newly created meeting recordings in OneDrive & SharePoint will be automatically deleted after this point unless the meeting owner extends the expiration.  Meeting owners will be notified about expired recordings and may extend the expiration date in OneDrive/SharePoint. • Microsoft Teams: Automated webinar invite – When webinars are setup and scheduled, the webinar invite is now automatically added to the attendee’s calendar. Roadmap ID:85737
• Microsoft Teams: Customer Lockbox for Microsoft Teams – Customer Lockbox ensures that Microsoft cannot access your content to perform a service operation without your explicit approval. Customer Lockbox brings you into the approval workflow for requests to access your content. Customer Lockbox is already available for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. • Microsoft Teams: Domain Customization for Webinar Communications – Showcase your organization’s brand in webinar communications. When webinar emails are sent to attendees, both the sender name and email domain will now reflect the tenant name, making it easier for attendees to recognize. Roadmap ID:86896
• Microsoft Teams: Large Gallery for Teams on VDI in Government Clouds – By default, Teams Meetings supports up to 9 videos in Gallery. Now, using Large Gallery, users can view up to 49 videos at once in meetings on virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). Roadmap ID:93000
• Microsoft Teams: Together Mode for Teams on VDI in Government Clouds – Together Mode lets you see all your colleagues against a shared background, making you feel like you are all ‘together’ in a virtual online room. • Microsoft Teams: Voice enabled channels for GCC H and DoD – We added the ability to use a Teams channel with members as call agents for call queue call answering.  Now we are bringing this capability to GCC H and DoD. Roadmap ID:80117
• Microsoft Teams: Dynamic Caller ID for Voice enabled channels, now available for GCC High and DoD – Last year we enabled the capability where agents can use Dynamic Caller ID to call on behalf of a Call Queue from within Voice Enabled Channels.  We are now bringing this capability to Government clouds including GCC High and DoD.  Roadmap ID:89290
• Microsoft Teams: User request flows for blocked apps – Enable users to discover Teams apps in the store and request approval from administrators. Roadmap ID:84469
• Microsoft Teams: New Lobby Setting: Only Invited Users join directly for GCC – A new lobby setting is coming to Teams Meeting Options. We are adding “People I Invite” as an option to the “Who can bypass lobby?” setting. Once enabled, only the participants invited by the organizer in meeting invite will be able to join the meeting directly. • Microsoft Teams: Integrated CART captioning in meetings on Web – Users will now be able to view captions coming from a CART provider (real-time captioning) within the Microsoft Teams meeting on Chrome and Edge.
