  • Microsoft Information Protection: New conditions for auto-labeling in Exchange Online (Gov clouds) โ€“ย An auto-labeling policy can now apply a label to Exchange Online email based on sender, recipient, subject, or header matches without requiring a scan for sensitive content.ย Roadmap ID: 85557
  • Microsoft Information Protection: Enhanced simulations and location support for auto-labeling in SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business (Government Clouds) โ€“ย Auto-labeling in SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business has been updated with improved performance and ability to configure more locations. The configuration limit of 10 locations in a policy has been removed. Any new simulation will run more efficiently, with results greatly sped up from days to hours.ย Roadmap ID: 85560

  • ๐Ÿ†• Microsoft 365 compliance center: Insider Risk Management – Enhancements to Export Alertsย  – For the Export alerts feature, we have increased the frequency in which alerts are sent to the Office 365 Management Activity API to every hour (previously every 12 hours) so updated alert information is more readily available. Insider Risk Management in Microsoft 365 correlates various signals from the chip to the cloud to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, security and policy violations, and more.   • Microsoft 365 compliance center: Information Barriers admin experience – Segments and Policies landing pages – The Information Barriers solution within the Microsoft 365 compliance center enables organizations to restrict communication and collaboration between two user groups to avoid a conflict of interest from occurring.   • Microsoft 365 compliance center: Default classification for content matching trainable classifiers – Admins can view items that match trainable classifiers in Content explorer without first needing to create a policy. Roadmap ID:88936
  • Microsoft Information Protection: New named entities SITs and enhanced unified policy authoring templates – Named entities are sensitive information types (SITs) that canโ€™t easily be identified by a regular expression or a function; these include person names, physical addresses, and medical terms & conditions. This update adds 52 new SITs representing named entities, and 10 enhanced policy templates that can be used in solutions such as DLP and auto-labeling, and cover important regulations, such as US HIPAA and EU GDPR.   • Microsoft 365 compliance center: Insider Risk Management analytics for Government clouds – The Microsoft 365 Insider Risk Management solution will provide aggregated and anonymized analytics to help identify potential insider risk activity within the organization.   • ๐Ÿ†• Microsoft 365 compliance center: Communication Compliance detects customer complaints – Detect customer complaints made on your organization’s products or services with Communication Compliance’s new machine learning classifier, customer complaints. This new feature can help organizations meet regulations that mandate detection and triage of complaints, such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Food and Drug Administrator requirements.   • ๐Ÿ†• Microsoft 365 compliance center: Communication Compliance – Expanded Optical Character Recognition to support handwritten and printed text (U.S. Government clouds) – Expanding optical character recognition beyond text extracted from images or PDFs to include handwritten and printed text, which will then be evaluated against the customers policy conditions (such as keywords matching for threatening language), further reducing an organizations policy violation risk.   • ๐Ÿ†• Microsoft 365 compliance center: Advanced eDiscovery – Expanded support to search and export items in SharePoint and OneDrive for Business Recycle Bin (US Government clouds) – Traditionally, when a site is on hold, the files in the Recycle Bin would be stored in the Preservation Hold library. In cases when a site is not on hold, there is no way to search or export items in the Recycle Bin. The eDiscovery and SharePoint Online teams are making architectural changes that will make the Recycle Bin (both first stage and second stage Recycle Bins) in SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business searchable and exportable by eDiscovery Managers. That means organizations can search and export items in the Recycle Bin regardless of whether a site is on hold or not.ย  Roadmap ID:93188

  • Azure Active Directory:ย  Azure B2B integration with OneDrive and SharePoint – The Azure B2B Integration with OneDrive and SharePoint is now generally available. This integration is currently disabled by default but can be enabled using the SharePoint Online Management Shell.ย  Additional changes are coming to improve the experience. Roadmap ID:81955
  • Microsoft 365 compliance center | Advanced eDiscovery: Discover only the document version that has been shared – Many customers often consider shared documents or cloud attachments as a form of communication, and therefore are required to preserve and make that content discoverable. While end users benefit from quickly sharing files for visibility and collaboration, this practice has been challenging for eDiscovery and legal professionals. To help customers efficiently meet their regulatory obligations for discovery, Advanced eDiscovery plans to support the ability to discover the version of the document at the time that it was shared.   • Microsoft 365 compliance center: Information governance – Auto-labeling of cloud attachments – This update enables organizations to automatically apply retention labels to the version of files shared as cloud attachments, which are live links of SharePoint or OneDrive content that can be shared via emails or Teams messages.
