  • Microsoft Teams: Career Coach – Job market trends – Faculty and staff license holders will now be able to view location-based job market trends from LinkedIn. Roadmap ID:89920
  • Microsoft Teams: Pin your own video in Teams meetings – Currently, users can pin video feeds to increase the size of the desired video on their own screen. Now, we have expanded the ability for users to pin their own video on the stage as well. This way, users can also see their own video in the increased size on their screen. Roadmap ID:86342
  • Microsoft Teams: Hide your own video in Teams meeting – Currently, the user’s video is displayed at the bottom right corner of the meeting screen. This feature allows users to hide their own video during a meeting. This will help reduce distractions during the call while still having your video available for other participants. Roadmap ID:86370
  • Microsoft Teams: Updated companion mode for iOS users – For a better hybrid meeting experience, Teams users on their iPhone can use a single tap to join a meeting on both their device and Microsoft Teams Room. Audio on their device will be automatically turned off to ensure echo doesn’t happen. Furthermore, the landing experience on the iPhone will be optimized for engagement activities to make it easier to raise hand or react, chat, see all participants, and more. Roadmap ID:87869

  • Microsoft Teams: Front row layout for Teams Rooms on Windows – Front row is a new layout for Microsoft Teams Rooms, designed to enhance hybrid meetings and provide in-room participants with greater context of what is happening across various aspects of the meeting. With front row, remote attendees are seen in the room at eye level and additional meeting experiences including chat, and a rostered view of participants with raised hands, are brought to the front of room screen.   • Microsoft Teams: Hot Desking on Teams Display – Hot desking on Teams display allows employees to quickly locate and reserve temporary workspaces to touch down and make calls, set up ad-hoc meetings, or sign in to access their personalized Teams experience.   • Microsoft Teams: Breakout Room pre-meeting room creation and participant assignment for DoD – Introducing capability for organizer to perform breakout room configuration and participant assignment before the meeting starts. Roadmap ID:85437
  • Microsoft Teams: Meeting room capacity notifications for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android –  Notification that appears on the front of room display alerting in-room meeting participants if the room is over-capacity based on the capacity defined in a room account. Only cameras that support people counting will support this feature. When a Teams panel is deployed outside a Teams Room that supports this feature, an alert will also be visible on the Teams panel, notifying people outside the room that it has reached capacity. Roadmap ID:86730

  • Microsoft Teams: Teams webinar capabilities in GCC – Schedule and deliver 1,000 person webinars with the same Teams app you use for meetings!   • Microsoft Teams: Message extension entry point for Workflows in Teams – Chat/Channel/Teams based workflows are a powerful tool for collaboration and efficiency.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Language Interpretation – Language interpretation will allow language interpreters to translate what the speaker says into another language in real time without disrupting the original flow of delivery of the speaker. This will allow more inclusive meetings, where participants who may not speak the same language can fully collaborate with each other. Roadmap ID:87547
  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Speaker Coach in Microsoft Teams Meetings – Speaker Coach provides private, personalized feedback on your speaking and presentation skills in both real-time as well as post-meeting in a summary. Roadmap ID:88253
  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Suggested Replies in chats – Suggested replies in Teams chat uses assistive AI to create short responses based on the context of the previous message. Suggested replies presents users with up to three recommended responses to choose from. Roadmap ID:92674
  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Follow Office preview policy on Mac – Public Preview has provided IT admins with the ability to allow their users to receive preview features before they are released to the public.  The existing follow Office preview policy allows users to automatically be in the Public Preview Channel of Teams if they are in the Office Current Channel (Preview) on Windows. We are now expanding the “follow Office preview” policy to Mac users who are in the Office Current Channel (Preview). Roadmap ID:93536
  • Microsoft Teams: Direct guest join for Zoom and Webex meetings on video-enabled certified Teams Android devices – Direct guest join (aka Third-party meeting join) is an ability to join meetings of other meeting providers from Microsoft Teams. Third-party meetings will appear on the Teams calendar and users will be able to join them the same way they join any other Teams meeting. This functionality will be limited to video-enabled certified Teams Android devices and will support only Zoom and Webex meetings. Roadmap ID:81482
