  • SharePoint: Sections with Copilot – Sections with Copilot is a SharePoint tool that lets users create detailed sections using prompts. It reviews your page context to suggest content, or you can enter your own prompt, optionally linking a relevant file. After generating, Copilot uses organizational knowledge to add rich content like transcripts or documents.   • SharePoint: OneNote usage inclusion in SharePoint site analytics – With this release, usage from OneNote files (.one) in SharePoint will be included in SharePoint site analytics metrices “Unique viewers” and “Site visits”. You will also see OneNote files appear in the popular content section if a OneNote file is heavily used in the last 7 days.   • Microsoft Teams: Call Waiting Beep Enabled on Desktop – Call Waiting Beep is a feature designed to provide a subtle notification tone when a user is already on a call and a second call comes in.   • Microsoft Teams: Forwarded Messages Links – When someone forwards a message in Teams, you’ll now be able to click a link that takes you straight to the original chat or channel where it came from.   • Microsoft Teams: Immersive events in Microsoft Teams – Host interactive virtual events with avatars in customizable 3D spaces. Schedule immersive events from your Teams calendar and join events directly in Microsoft Teams on PC or Mac. Organizers can customize an immersive event’s 3D space with images, videos, and 3D models, no coding skills required. Attendees can mingle in the 3D space and engage with different features that provide a rich interactive experience.   •  Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Customize AI-generated notes in meeting recap – Users can now customize the AI-generated notes in meeting recap, instantly transforming meeting notes into the format that works best for each person. Users can even create and save their own custom templates with a simple prompt, so meeting notes always match the way each user prefers to work.   • Microsoft Teams: Teams client health dashboards in Teams Admin Center – We have moved this item back to rolling out while GCCH clouds complete. We apologize for any inconvenience. IT Administrators can view and monitor the health of Teams desktop clients on both Windows and Mac platforms. This feature offers comprehensive admin actionable insights into client health metrics, including client crashes and launch failures. Administrators are equipped with detailed information on issues, insights, and mitigation tools to promptly and effectively address any potential client health problems.   • Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Admins can block external users in Microsoft Teams from Defender Portal – Security admins with Defender for Office 365 Plan 1 and above can block external users from sending messages, calls, meetings invitation over Microsoft Teams via the Tenant Allow Block List in Microsoft Defender portal.   • Microsoft Teams: Migration Tool for Teams – Customers will now be able to migrate content seamlessly from Slack public and private channels to Teams shared, public, and private channels. A new first-party migration tool in the Microsoft Admin Center (MAC) will allow admins to review which Slack channels they wish to migrate, then perform content migration to Teams.   • Microsoft Teams: Restart your Town hall event – Teams town hall producers can now restart a live event while the event is active in order to address technical issues that might arise during the execution of an instance. Whether technical, network, or other issue, this feature enables those managing the event to quickly resolve problems for attendees.   • Microsoft Teams: Express voice enrollment in Microsoft Teams – Express voice enrollment makes registering your voice in Teams fast and easy. Your profile enables features like voice isolation, speaker recognition, identification in a meeting room and transcripts, and enhanced meeting recaps and insights from Microsoft 365 Copilot. If you haven’t enrolled, you’ll get an in-product prompt to opt-in and enroll your voice profile simply by speaking in a meeting. Admins can enable or disable this feature for their organization.   • Microsoft Teams: Update user labels to show familiarity with external users – Trust Indicators are visual badges next to external users in Microsoft Teams that show a person’s trust level. This lets you collaborate confidently with users from external organizations and avoid sharing sensitive information with the wrong audience.   • Microsoft Teams: Chat with anyone who has an email address – Start a chat with anyone who has an email address, even if they’re not on Teams!   • Microsoft Teams: Report a Suspicious Call in Microsoft Teams – Microsoft Teams now includes a capability that lets users flag calls they believe are unusual or suspicious. When a call is reported, the signal helps Microsoft strengthen security measures and reduce future unwanted or malicious call activity. This feature empowers users to actively contribute to real-time threat detection, enhancing organizational safety. The report will be scoped to include agents in M365 Copilot and Copilot Chat with usage by both M365 Copilot licensed and unlicensed users. The report will include total active agent users, total active agents, active users segmentation by licensed and unlicensed users, and active users and active agents segmentation by publisher type (i.e. user-created agents, agents built by your org, agents built by Microsoft, agents built by Microsoft partners). Faster Access: Access event details (e.g. Impacted assets) with just 1 click on the main alerts page itself, compared to 4 clicks earlier, reducing triage time significantly. 3. Enhanced Context: We’ve added 4 new columns – Location, DLP Rule name, DLP Policy name, Rule Action to display key alert and event attributes upfront — giving you more visibility at a glance. 4.   • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention: User based alert aggregation – User-Based Aggregation consolidates DLP alerts by user identity i.e. a DLP rule violations, in a specified aggregation time window, of the same rule and single user will be aggregated into a single alert enabling quicker triage and remediation. Instead of reviewing alerts containing rule match events of multiple users, DLP admin can now analyze grouped DLP rule match events per user, gaining insights into repeated policy violations and anomalous behavior.   • Microsoft Purview: Endpoint Data Loss Prevention- Always-on diagnostics for Windows endpoints (Phase 1) – This feature release ‘Always-on diagnostics’, captures critical diagnostic data from onboarded endpoint devices running on Windows OS for EDLP issue reporting. Comprehensive trace logs will be automatically recorded and stored locally on the devices, eliminating the need to reproduce issues when submitting investigation requests to Microsoft. It allows for the collection of detailed traces over extended periods (up to 90 days). While raising tickets to submit investigation requests to Microsoft regarding Microsoft Endpoint DLP, customers can share enhanced diagnostic information with Microsoft without needing to reproduce the exact scenario.   • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: eDiscovery (Premium) – CMK (Customer Managed Keys) encryption support for data at-rest in Review sets – This release of eDiscovery features the implementation of customer-managed key (CMK) options, allowing users to manage their own encryption keys for the data stored in eDiscovery review sets in addition to the default, strong Microsoft-managed encryption already in place.   • Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance: Integration with Power Automate – Currently in public preview, Communication Compliance integration with Power Automate allows organizations to configure Power Automate flows to automate tasks for Communication Compliance cases and users. Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance provides the tools to help organizations detect regulatory compliance violations (e.g. SEC or FINRA), such as sensitive or confidential information, harassing or threatening language, and sharing of adult content. Built with privacy by design, usernames are pseudonymized by default, role-based access controls are built in, investigators are opted in by an admin, and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.   •  Microsoft Purview Compliance Portal: Custom CC policy as IRM indicator – IRM admins can now select any Communication Compliance (CC) Policy alerts as indicators in IRM policies. After this rollout, IRM admins can select any custom CC policies that they would like to bring into IRM and detect if a user has alerts for these CC policies. When an IRM alert is generated, admins can review if there are any alerts for the user within CC under the policies that are enabled as indicators. This feature will help admins and analysts view this information in IRM without switching to CC. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies to manage security and compliance. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.   • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Modern eDiscovery additional enhancements – We are introducing a new set of enhancements to the modernized eDiscovery user interface aimed at improving both functionality and user experience. These updates include the ability to delete searches and direct exports; bulk add data sources and populate the custodian field for items in review sets and exports. We are also rolling out a tenant-level premium feature toggle to provide greater administrative control. Additionally, users will benefit from a new analytics process report and improvements to the search condition builder, which now supports logical operators such as AND, OR, and NEAR for more precise and flexible keyword queries, along with country and language selection for the query.
