  • Microsoft Teams: Facilitator agent for scheduled meetings in Teams Rooms – You can take advantage of the Facilitator agent in Teams Rooms on Windows or Android for real-time AI-generated notes, follow up items, and keeping everyone on time during scheduled meetings. Facilitator appears in the meeting chat and participants can toggle between notes, chat, and the agent. Available in rooms licensed for Teams Rooms Pro.   • Microsoft Teams: Chat Notes – A new collaborative space is now available directly from your Teams chat, enabling real-time collaboration, organization of key information, and streamlined communications. Chat notes is available in 1:1 and group chat, and is accessible only to the chat members. Add images, format text, share Loop components, and mention chat members when you require their attention.   • Microsoft Teams: Preview of multiple camera view in Teams Rooms on Windows – When multiple camera views are enabled in Teams Rooms on Windows, the preview video on the front-of-room display and the camera settings dialog will show multiple camera views. This feature allows in-room users to be aware of all camera streams that are simultaneously streaming to remote users. This feature is available with the Teams Rooms Pro license.   • Microsoft Teams: Browser support on Teams Rooms on Windows touch boards – Teams Rooms on Windows-based touch boards, including the Surface Hub 3, now feature a private browsing mode with Microsoft Edge. This functionality allows users to access websites and line-of-business web applications on touch boards both during meetings and outside of them.   • Microsoft Teams: Speed Up App Reviews with Trust-Based Filters – This feature enables IT Administrators in Teams admin center to view and easily filter apps and agents by specific industry standards, certifications and compliance attributes such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and more. This will help with more streamlined app evaluation workflows, enabling faster decisions and broader access to trusted apps across the organization.   • Microsoft Teams: Permission and Privilege level of Apps and Agents – Today, IT admins in the Teams admin center can view the permissions requested by an app or agent—these permissions define what organizational data the app can access. This feature enhances that experience by showing the risk rating of each permission and the overall privilege level of the app or agent, helping admins better secure organizational data and make faster, more informed approval decisions.   • Microsoft Teams: Simultaneous role-specific Teams Town hall and Webinar views in Teams Rooms on Windows – With a Teams Room on Windows system, both attendees and presenters for Teams Town halls and Webinars can now simultaneously enjoy unique experiences in the same room. This new feature sets the in-room viewing experience on the front of room display to attendee view by default so presenter-specific features, such as the green room and backroom chat, or off-stage presenters are hidden. Presenters in the room can still see their view on the console and manage everything smoothly without distracting the audience. Available in Teams Rooms Pro.   • Microsoft Teams: New Policy Setting to Require Explicit Consent for Recording and Transcription in Teams 1:1 Calls– We’re expanding the capability to require explicit consent for recording and transcription to include 1:1 calls in Microsoft Teams. A new setting in the Teams Calling policy allows admins to enforce this requirement before recording or transcription can begin. When a user with the policy initiates recording, transcription, or both in a 1:1 call, the other participant is automatically muted, with their camera and content sharing turned off. The participant will see a prompt asking whether they consent to be included in the recording and transcription.   • OneDrive: Transfer ownership of departing employees’ files with ease – We’ve made it easier to manage files when employees leave—account cleanup emails are now more prominent, new filters help managers quickly locate key files, and the enhanced “Move and keep sharing” feature supports bulk transfers with consolidated notifications, making the process more efficient. Security and compliance in ownership transfer ensures sensitive data remains protected, access is properly reassigned, and regulatory obligations are met during employee offboarding.   • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Collection policies impact on IRM – With this update, Microsoft Purview will start supporting collection policies. Collection policies allow customers to scope classification (SITs – Sensitive Information Types) and activities for scoped users. We recommend reviewing collection policies as they can be created by different Purview solution admins to ensure they are setup to detect the activities required by IRM policies. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies to manage security and compliance.   • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Endpoint Data Loss Prevention: Expand protection to Copilot + PC devices for Recall snapshots through custom policies – Microsoft Purview Endpoint data loss prevention is expanding coverage to Copilot + PCs initially to support Recall snapshots and determining whether policies exist to prevent capture of windows containing restricted sensitivity labels and Sensitive information types (SITs). Purview admins will author Endpoint DLP custom policies to integrate with Windows Copilot + PC Recall setup by Intune admins for Copilot + PC devices exclusively.
