  • SharePoint: eSignature – globally available – Microsoft’s native eSignature service allows users to request simple electronic signatures from Word & PDF documents in SharePoint. Recipients can easily sign documents without the documents leaving the trusted boundaries of Microsoft. This capability will be now be available in all markets with the exception of China, Indonesia and Türkiye.     • SharePoint: Sections with Copilot – Sections with Copilot is a new SharePoint authoring tool that allows users to create full-fidelity SharePoint sections with just a prompt. It works by first looking at the context of your page to offer prompt suggestions for what content you need next to offer a starting point. Next, you either select one of those starting points or write your own and optionally ground in a relevant file. Once you click generate, Sections with Copilot then leverages the knowledge and content already inside of your organization and on your page to create rich sections that go beyond just image and text. This could mean meeting transcripts, recent documents, or any other knowledge Copilot has access to, added to an existing page with a click of a button. If the output section isn’t quite right, you can then use AI refinement to make changes to both the content and layout of your section, without ever touching our traditional authoring tools. Some examples include “”change the background image””, “”add John Smith’s contact information””, or “”make the text more professional””. You can also get different suggestions by clicking “”regenerate”” and then choosing your favorite one to refine further. With Sections with Copilot, you can create content faster than ever before, no matter your SharePoint skill level.     • SharePoint: Signed Adobe & Docusign documents saved to the originating folder – Documents signed via Adobe or DocuSign eSignature, when initiated through the SharePoint eSignature platform, will now be saved in the originating SharePoint folder instead of the default Apps folder.     • SharePoint: Agent usage statistics per SharePoint site – SharePoint agents’ usage statistics will be available for every SharePoint site. This will be available on the site analytics page for the site owner persona.     • SharePoint: Enterprise Application Insights for SharePoint sites – Enterprise Application Insights is a powerful report which helps SharePoint Administrators to discover all the SharePoint sites that are allowed access by third-party applications registered in your tenant.     • Microsoft Teams: share file in chat with external users – Collaborating with users outside your organization has become more streamlined. You can now share files with external users in both 1:1 and group chats. When sending a file, you have the option to either change its permissions or retain the existing ones.     •  Microsoft Teams: Control External Access by Domain for Specific Users and Groups – Gain granular control over external communication. By setting custom External Access policies, you can define domain allow/deny lists and assign them to specific users or groups – capabilities that were previously tenant-wide only (“Teams and Skype for Business users in external organizations”). Use this to pilot with a department, restrict high‑risk roles to approved partners, or open federation broadly where appropriate. Example: Allow Group A to communicate only with a specific domain, while Group B can communicate with all external domains.     • Microsoft Teams: User reporting for incorrectly identified security concerns – Microsoft Teams now allows users to report messages they believe were incorrectly flagged as security concerns. This feature is available in one-on-one chats, group and meeting chats, as well as public and private channels.     • Microsoft Teams: Malicious URL Protection for Teams Chat and Channels  – Microsoft Teams can now detect and warn users on malicious URLs sent in Teams chat and channels, increasing protection against malware attacks.     • Microsoft Teams: Weaponizable File Type Protection for Teams Chat and Channels  – Microsoft Teams now blocks messages containing weaponizable file types, such as executables, in chats and channels, increasing protection against malware and other file-based attacks.     • Microsoft Teams: Customize captions on Mobile – Live captions are now available on mobile devices with enhanced customization options, making captions easier to read and follow during meetings. You can personalize your captions by adjusting the font color, caption background color, and caption height. These enhancements ensure captions remain accessible and comfortable, especially under varying lighting conditions or when you’re on the go.     • Microsoft Teams: DoD support in Teams Rooms Pro Management  – Department of Defense (DoD) customer tenants now have access to the Teams Rooms Pro Management service and portal, enabling them to use the remote device management and analytics features of the solution while meeting high security and privacy standards.     • Planner: New Microsoft Planner app for Microsoft Teams in GCC High and DoD – After further review, we will not be rolling this out to DoD. We apologize for any inconvenience. The new Microsoft Planner app in Teams is a single, unified work management experience. It brings together the simplicity of To Do, the collaboration of Planner into a single and simple solution, that offers individual task management, collaborative work management as well as enterprise work management.     • Microsoft Teams: Facilitator agent  – The Facilitator agent works alongside you and your team to help you manage your meetings effortlessly.     • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Unified Agent and App Availability Management Across Microsoft 365 and Teams Admin Center – Administrators using the Microsoft 365 admin center and Teams admin center who manage agents and apps that work across Teams, Outlook and the Microsoft 365 copilot will be able to apply their changes consistently across all these surfaces. Before this update, changes made through the Integrated Apps section in the Microsoft 365 admin center would only affect these apps on Outlook and the Microsoft 365 copilot; similarly, changes made in the Teams admin center would exclusively affect Teams. With this change, app and agent availability  will be unified across Teams, Outlook and Microsoft 365 copilot.     • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Security and Compliance information for more Apps and Agents – Today, IT admins in the Teams admin center can view security and compliance data for apps and agents that are Microsoft 365 certified or publisher attested.This enhancement expands that visibility to include apps and agents that are not certified or attested.Where available, this data is sourced from Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MDA) and helps admins more easily and quickly evaluate whether an app or agent meets their organization’s trust requirements.     • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Enhanced Copilot chat summary – Missed many messages? Copilot will automatically generate a summary of the new messages in a chat conversation, so you can catch up quickly without reading every message.     • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Permission and Privilege level of Apps and Agents – Today, IT admins in the Teams admin center can view the permissions requested by an app or agent—these permissions define what organizational data the app can access. This feature enhances that experience by showing the risk rating of each permission and the overall privilege level of the app or agent, helping admins better secure organizational data and make faster, more informed approval decisions.     • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Simplified device settings for voice and face recognition on Teams Rooms on Android – It’s easier for admins to enable the benefits of intelligent audio and video and Copilot for users in Teams Rooms through a new user interface and admin settings. These new settings, on the device and in the Pro Management portal, simplify configuration and remove the requirement to use PowerShell, offering improved visibility across rooms.     • Microsoft Teams: Recommended actions page in the Teams Rooms Pro Management portal – The new page in the Pro Management portal provides proactive recommendations based on your organization’s environment and upcoming events that can impact devices, such as support or certification expirations. Admins are prompted to update device and account data enabling rich insights from the portal, and guidance based on space and device usage data is coming soon. This feature helps admins maintain smooth operations and plan and budget efficiently. At least one Teams Rooms Pro or Teams Shared Devices license is required for access.     • Microsoft Teams: New SlimCore-based optimization for Microsoft Teams in VDI – support for MacOS on Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktops/Windows 365 – This feature allows MAC endpoints to optimize Microsoft Teams in VDI environments with the new SlimCore-based media engine, providing an expanded feature set and multiple improvements in quality, reliability and performance.     • Microsoft Teams: New Organization chart in the Profile Card for Web and Desktop – With the new org chart users will not only be able to contextaulize a person, they will also be able to scroll through visited profiles, see a manager’s reports counts, and more.     • Microsoft Teams: Raise hands in Town Hall – Currently in a Teams Town hall, attendees cannot raise their hands and share their microphone and camera as they can in a meeting. With this new update, town halls organized by users with Teams Premium will allow attendees to raise their hand like they would in a standard Teams meeting. The ability to raise a hand can signal to organizers and presenters, who can then bring attendees on screen to allow them to share their camera and microphone. Additionally, the report introduces visibility into Copilot Chat usage within Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote—enabling better tracking of adoption and engagement across these core Microsoft 365 apps. All metrics focus on unlicensed users and support export functionality for further analysis. This feature applies to users without a Microsoft 365 Copilot license (Copilot Chat users) and to users with a license (Microsoft 365 Copilot users) when they are toggled to web scope in chat.     • Microsoft 365 admin center: Agents usage report – A new agents usage report will be available in the Microsoft 365 admin center. The report will be scoped to include agents in M365 Copilot and Copilot Chat with usage by both M365 Copilot licensed and unlicensed users. The report will include total active agent users, total active agents, active users segmentation by licensed and unlicensed users, and active users and active agents segmentation by publisher type (i.e. user-created agents, agents built by your org, agents built by Microsoft, agents built by Microsoft partners).     • Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Frontier and Microsoft agent user request approval flow in Microsoft 365 admin center – For Admins, agents in the Frontier program can be managed through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. They are listed under the agents & connectors tab in Copilot Control System, where you can view all agent inventory for your organization. Agents built by Microsoft and available in the Frontier program will be displayed in the Agent Store. This feature will support users to request these agents if blocked by organizational policies.     •  Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Skills agent – The Skills agent in M365 Copilot, empowers individuals and leaders to easily find experts in the organization, make informed decisions about skill development, and ensure that the organization has the right skills in the era of AI. The Skills agent is powered by the People Skills data layer, which uses advanced AI capabilities to infer skills for every person in the organization, providing a comprehensive view of areas of expertise and focus all in one place.     • Microsoft 365 Admin Center: M365 Copilot – Billing and usage – Usage insights – As you enable M365 Copilot Chat pay-as-you-go billing, AI administrators can view usage insights to inform agent management decisions. This feature displays the cost and number of messages in total and per agent.
