  • 🆕 OneDrive: Updates to file viewer – The OneDrive file viewer offers a quick and easy way to view your files in OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint, across all your devices. OneDrive is enhancing the user interface and design of the file viewer to make it more useful and intuitive. We are adding a new toolbar, new panes, and collaboration features.   • 🆕 SharePoint: DocuSign Integration with SharePoint eSignature – SharePoint users who are also DocuSign customers can initiate eSignatures directly from PDF documents. The eSignature request will be processed by DocuSign and a copy of the signed document will be automatically saved in SharePoint after signing. This reduces the risks of potential data leakage that customers often report as they move sensitive documents between SharePoint and 3rd party eSignature platforms. Manual download or upload of documents will no longer be required when initiating the request or when saving the signed documents back to SharePoint for long term storage.   • 🆕 SharePoint: Adobe Acrobat Sign Integration with SharePoint eSignature – SharePoint users who are also Adobe Acrobat sign customers can initiate eSignatures directly from PDF documents. The eSignature request will be processed by Adobe and a copy of the signed document will be automatically saved in SharePoint after signing. This reduces the risks of potential data leakage that customers often report as they move sensitive documents between SharePoint and 3rd party eSignature platforms.   • Microsoft Teams: New Shortcuts for Calls in Teams – We are changing the keyboard shortcuts used to initiate calls in Teams to create differentiation from other commonly used shortcuts and reduce accidental calls. The new shortcuts for Windows will be: Alt + Shift + A to initiate audio calls, Alt + Shift + V for video calls.   • Microsoft Teams: Auto Install Approved Apps – Microsoft Teams Auto Install Approved Apps uses intelligent signals from your users to install and surface the apps that the admin has already allowed for the tenant.   • Microsoft Teams: New Tag Management Settings – This feature will update default tag management settings in the Teams Admin Center to include "Microsoft Default" along with Team owners and members" and "Team owners.” You can update this to your preferred option of "Team owners" or "Team owners and members" at the tenant level and override the default.   • Microsoft Teams: QR code to reserve a room on Teams Panels – This feature lets users easily book a room for meetings now, in the future, or as part of a scheduled meeting by scanning a QR code on the scheduling panel with their mobile device.   • Microsoft Teams: Hotline phones  – Enables administrators to program Microsoft Teams certified phone devices to directly dial a pre-configured phone number or contact, such as emergency services in a manufacturing plant or help desk in the organization. The hotline can be set up directly through the device settings or the Teams admin center. The device will need to be enabled with a Teams Shared Device License and set to common area phone mode.   • Microsoft Teams: New channels experience – New channels experience was built with an intuitive design that helps teams focus and actively engage.   • Microsoft Teams: Virtual appointment – a new Teams Meeting type for B2C meetings – Virtual Appointment is a new Teams meeting type tailored for B2C meetings with people outside of your organization. When using the meeting type, guests will get a meeting invitation that includes important appointment details to make joining easy.   • Microsoft Teams: Power Automate Connector – Updates App (Microsoft 365) – Updates App (Microsoft 365) connector enables creation of Power Automate flows which trigger when an update is sent to the flow owner.   • Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows UI refresh – A vibrant new look and feel for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows consoles and front-of-room displays. This update includes vivid new ambient screens, new themes, and a refreshed calendar that enables scrolling for full day views, on consoles and front-of-room displays.   • Microsoft Teams: Teams Connect chat enhancements – IT admins will be able to add external partners with phone-based Teams accounts not managed by an organization to their organization’s extended directory. These external users can have a company curated user profile including location and job role.   • Microsoft Teams: Recurring task lists and top task publishing requests – Task publishing allows an organization to centrally define and distribute tasks across their frontline locations and monitor how that work is going. The task publishing capability will allow users to create recurring task lists that repeat on a selected cadence, to create lists assigned to everyone in a recipient team, to require a Microsoft Forms form as a prerequisite to completion, and to designate an approval as a prerequisite to completion.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: User reported events in Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro Management – When an end user reports an issue from a Teams Rooms device, a feedback event is raised in the Teams Rooms Pro Management portal. This event provides managers with the necessary data to act on the feedback or open a support case with logs that were generated by the end user.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Join meetings with a QR code on Teams Rooms on Windows using Teams mobile – Users can quickly join a meeting from a Teams Room even without forwarding the invite to the room calendar by scanning a QR code using their native mobile camera. The user will then enter the Teams mobile companion mode experience on their mobile. The QR code is found on the Teams Room home screen and can also be scanned to start an ad-hoc meeting or cast content from their mobile to the Teams Room display. If the user does not have the Teams mobile app, they will be directed to download it after scanning the QR code. IT admins can control the QR code feature in the device settings and the Teams admin center. This feature supports cross-tenant meetings when the organization settings and user policies allow it.   • Microsoft Teams: Meeting recap and meeting artifacts automatically shared in chat after meeting – Shortly after a meeting ends, meeting participants will automatically get a set of all the artifacts from the meeting in the meeting chat. Included in this set is a quick entry point to the meeting recap page, the transcript, the recording, Collaborative notes, any files that were shared, a link to any Whiteboard that was used, and the meeting details like date and time of the meeting event. For Teams Premium users, in addition to the entry point to intelligent recap, users will also see highlights like number of speakers, number of name mentions, and suggested tasks.   • Microsoft Teams: Meeting organizers can manage who can record and transcribe meetings (Premium) – We are expanding the existing ‘Who can record’ control for meeting organizers to include transcription. With this change, meeting organizers with a Teams Premium license will see a control called ‘Who can record and transcribe’ in the meeting options, which allows meeting organizers to select from two options: (1) organizers and co-organizers, or (2) organizers, co-organizers, and presenters. This control allows meeting organizers to manage which roles are able to initiate recording and transcription for a meeting.   • Microsoft Teams: Intelligent Meeting Recap for scheduled channel meetings (Premium) – Intelligent recap is now available for scheduled channel meetings, so users can easily browse the meeting recording by speakers and topics, as well as access AI-generated meeting notes, AI-generated tasks, and name mentions.   • Microsoft Teams: Ability for meeting participants to edit their display name – Teams meeting participants will be able to edit their display name, enabling more flexibility in their meeting presence, regardless of their tenant set display name.   • Microsoft Teams: Click Through Collaborative Annotations Layer – Users are now able to click through the annotation layer to interact with content in meetings without restarting the current annotation session.
