  •  Microsoft Viva: Answers in Viva – AI Topic suggestions in publisher – With the help of AI topic extraction, we can offer suggested topics based on the user’s question. Our AI topic extraction recommends up to 3 topics to add to one’s question based on what they wrote. These can be existing Viva topics or newly generated ones that the user can create and add. The user still must select and add our AI suggested topic since they do not automatically get attached to the question.   • Microsoft Viva: Storyline per-user control for Viva Engage – This feature will allow admins to designate which users in their Viva Engage network have the ability to create new storyline posts. It gives admins another option for how to support storyline in their network in addition to the current choice of enabling or disabling storyline for all users. This feature will not change who can reply or react to the storyline posts from those users who have been given storyline privileges.   • Microsoft Teams: Desktop to web browser join experience for attendees in Virtual Appointments – Schedulers can enable the ‘have attendees join from a web browser’ setting so that attendees joining the virtual appointment on desktop will be routed to the Teams web browser experience.   • Microsoft Teams: Scheduling improvements in Shifts app – In the Shifts app, people count, and full names, will show in the calendar view. The most recent filter settings will be saved automatically.   • Microsoft Teams: Video Closed Captions in PowerPoint Live – Closed Captions will now be supported for embedded videos in PowerPoint Live for Teams.   •  Microsoft Teams: App centric management in Teams Admin Center to manage the Apps access for tenants, end-users, and groups – App centric management introduces new admin settings to control who in the tenant can install Teams apps. First, admins can set a default value for new apps that are published to Teams app store. Second, admins can edit the availability of an app to ‘All users can install’, ‘Specific users and groups can install’, or ‘No user can install’. This feature evolves the existing app permission policies and provides admins with the ability to manage access to the app individually.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Collaborative Notes in Channel Meetings – Collaborative Notes will replace Wiki-based Channel Meeting Notes. Collaborative Notes in channel meetings allow attendees to co-create and collaborate on their meeting agenda, notes, and action items. Since Collaborative Notes are a Loop component, it is always in sync regardless of how many places they live in. Assigned Tasks in Collaborative Notes automatically sync with To Do and Planner.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Domain-specific search – Users will be able to narrow down their search results and find what they are looking for faster.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: New Teams meeting templates added to Outlook Teams add-in – New meeting templates for Virtual Appointment, Webinar, and Town hall are available in the Teams meeting dropdown menu in the Calendar tab in Outlook with the Outlook Teams add-in enabled. This allows organizers to set up these broader Teams meeting scenarios directly within Outlook and these will show up on calendars in both Outlook and Teams apps.   • Microsoft Teams: New settings available for your frontline manager in Shifts app – In the Shifts app, we are rolling out the ability for frontline manager to control additional functionalities through our Shifts settings page.   • Microsoft Teams: Together mode and content share layout improvement – With the new layout, Together mode will be displayed under the shared content.   • Microsoft Teams: Frosted Glass Backgrounds in Teams Meetings – Frosted Glass is a type of background effect that helps users keep their privacy with a background blur, but in a more professional and creative way. It let users have graphics with a blur effect together. Frosted Glass can be activated with a PNG image, that usually comes with some graphics in a transparent background. With the new frosted glass effects, the transparent area is turned into a blur background while the graphic remains as the part of background effect. In some cases, this delegation is based on function, and in other cases it is based on geography or scope of work. Enhanced Token Support: We have expanded our token library to offer precise and detailed information to your end users. 2. Email Message Customization: You now have the ability to decide whether the matching email messages should be included or excluded in the end-user notification emails. 3.   • 🆕 Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Attack Simulation Training in DoD – Attack simulation and training (AST) in the Microsoft Defender for Office 365 is an intelligent risk reduction tool, which allows customers to run realistic attack scenarios in their organization, identify vulnerable users, and help drive behavior change through an integrated security awareness training program.
