• Microsoft Syntex: Split PDF pages into new PDF files with the Extract action in OneDrive for iOS – Users of Microsoft Syntex can now split a PDF file into multiple PDFs with the Extract file action in OneDrive for iOS. The Extract file action lets you quickly split and extract multiple pages of a PDF into a new PDF file stored in SharePoint or OneDrive. • Microsoft Viva: New landing experience for Viva Connections desktop – Help people in your organization manage their daily flow of work using a customized landing experience in Teams that displays the most important tasks, tools, news, and resources in one central place. The new landing experience offers expanded navigational tools between Viva apps and acts as the home base for Viva experiences in Teams. Attention: We will not be proceeding with GCC under this ID, and will provide a new ID when we are ready to proceed.  We appreciate your patience. •  Microsoft Viva: Connections News Notifications – Mobile users of Viva Connections will receive a push notification from Teams when SharePoint news is published from sites they follow or visit frequently.  They’ll also receive notification if they are @ mentioned in a comment on a news post, or if someone likes or comments on news they have published.  These notifications will honor Teams notification settings including fully disabling them and quiet hours. • 🆕 Microsoft Stream: Automatic transcriptions for video files uploaded to SharePoint, Yammer, and Office.com – Videos uploaded to SharePoint Online, Yammer, and Office.com will have transcriptions automatically generated shortly after upload. • Microsoft Viva: Auto-categorization coming to meeting category insights in Viva Insights – Users with a Viva Insights license will be able to see what kind of meetings are taking up their time, automatically categorized by Viva Insights based on meeting size, cadence, and people in the meetings. • Microsoft Viva: Microsoft Project data Integration in Viva Goals – Connect Viva Goals OKRs with MS Project. • Microsoft Viva: Topics in Teams Channels – Earlier this year, we rolled out new Viva Topics integrations with Microsoft Teams. To widen the reach of Topics into the areas team members work, Viva Topics will expand from chats in Teams to channels in Teams, allowing users to mention topics and see topic cards within a given channel.       This addition to the Teams integration will make the Topics experience more intuitive and approachable, allowing you to interact with topics in the spaces you are used to collaborating with team members. • Microsoft Viva: Topics Adoption Metrics Dashboard – Topics will include a new analytics page, where knowledge managers and admins will have access to a set of metrics that details the health of their adoption.
