  • Microsoft 365 compliance center: Microsoft Purview | Insider Risk Management – User activity reports – Privacy-enabled security and compliance user activity reports allow Insider Risk Management admins with the appropriate permissions to examine risky user actions that may lead to a potential data security incident, such as an employee attempting to download confidential files to a personal device, for specific users across a defined time period without having to assign them to an Insider Risk Management policy. This helps customers maintain scale and flexibility in cyber risk and data security incident management. Roadmap ID:88491
  • Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Password protected download of quarantined messages – With this change we are giving the ability to password protects items they download from quarantine. We want users to be confident that the items they are downloading to their systems will not execute involuntarily without their consent, and this capability will allow them to safely transport the items to external analysis tools. Roadmap ID:93305

  • Microsoft Information Protection: Microsoft Purview | SIT Feedback Loop for Content explorer and DLP alerts – Now available in public preview, admins can provide feedback for sensitive information type (SIT) False Positives via Content explorer and DLP Alerts. This feedback can be provided in a compliant manner and users can see a summary view of the feedback in the SIT overview page. The feedback will be used to make systematic fixes to SITs for improved accuracy. Roadmap ID:93210

  • 🆕 Microsoft Purview | Data Lifecycle Management: Increased limits per label for disposition review and proof of disposition – This feature removes the per label 1,000,000 item limit for items pending disposition review and proof of disposition (reviewed) including record labels. The tenant limit of 16,000,000 total items pending disposition and disposed still exists. Roadmap ID: 103622
  • 🆕 Microsoft Purview | eDiscovery (Premium): Review set – Add notes to items – Support for adding customer notes to items within a review set. Roadmap ID: 103623
  • Microsoft Defender for Identity: User page enhancements in Microsoft 365 Defender – The user page in Microsoft 365 Defender will be subject to a number of enhancements that will provide SecOps with a richer experience when viewing identity information in Microsoft 365 Defender. These include structure alignment to follow other entity pages in Microsoft 365 Defender, new side pane options like Location, Devices, Groups and Alerts, and clearer descriptions of user data on the main view, ensuring quicker identification of any given identity at a glance. Roadmap ID:98922

  • Microsoft 365 Compliance center: Microsoft Purview | Communication Compliance – Recommended policy scope – Leverage policy scope insights to understand the aggregated volume of policy violations that are missed from users that are not currently scoped into the policy. Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance helps organizations detect explicit code of conduct and regulatory compliance violations, such as harassing or threatening language, sharing of adult content, and inappropriate sharing of sensitive information. Roadmap ID:93260
  • Microsoft Purview | Information Protection: Exact Data Match to support up to 500 EDM evaluations – Organizations will be able to configure policies for solutions where EDM is supported, such as Data Loss Prevention, with Min and Max unique instance counts up to 500, aligning instance count supported with other Sensitive Information Types, such as U.S. Social Security Number (SSN). Note that there is no change for the support of the value Any, which remains an option for Max instance count. Roadmap ID: 100712
