  • Microsoft Teams: Join a meeting by digital code – User can join a meeting by entering a digital code. Roadmap ID:80668
  • Microsoft Teams: E-signature approvals on mobile: view and take action – Users can now see their e-signature approvals on mobile devices and take action on them. As a recipient they can view or review them, as a creator they can edit or cancel them. Roadmap ID:92939
  • Microsoft Teams: Support of Live Caption for Teams on VDI for VMware – Teams users on virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) will be able to use live captions. Live captions display the text version of the audio during the call. Roadmap ID:86070
  • Microsoft Teams: Automatic groupings available in Teams for channel posts – When creating a message post in a team channel, users will be able to notify owners of the team all at once by mentioning “@Team Owners”, removing the need to mention each Team Owners individually. “Team Owners” is automatically grouped and does not require any manual maintenance.   • Microsoft Teams: Roaming bandwidth control for GCC-High and DoD – Admins will now be able to set a bandwidth control policy to disable video calls when users are working in bandwidth constrained areas – this protects the reliability of the connection, automatically just based on where the users are located.  Once users return to a location with better bandwidth, their video calling is restored. Initially two settings from the Teams Meeting Policy will be included – AllowIPVideo, and MediaBitRateKb.  Roadmap ID:89064
  • Microsoft Teams: Casting from Teams desktop client to Microsoft Teams Rooms – For quick ad-hoc sessions that don’t require setting up a formal meeting, people can use Teams casting to wirelessly connect to a Teams Room and display content from the Teams desktop client (Windows and Mac). Users can broadcast their screen and cast content stored locally on their computer or accessible via Office 365. The date for GCC-H can be tracked in roadmap ID 97227. Roadmap ID:88027
  • Microsoft Teams: Task publishing editing – Task publishing enables corporate teams to create and publish tasks to, for example, all frontline locations and other configurable attributes of a distributed workforce. Corporate teams can now edit published tasks without having to recall the entire task list. Roadmap ID:70785

  • Microsoft Teams: Start a Teams Chat with Distribution Groups, Mail-enabled Security Groups, and O365 Groups – You will now be able to start a Teams Chat with Distribution Groups, Mail-enabled Security Groups, and O365 Groups. This feature will respect the limits on members in a group chat, currently set to 250 members.   Roadmap ID:62354
  • Microsoft Teams: Check out for Microsoft Teams panels – From a Microsoft Teams panel, users can “check out” of a room with the touch of a button, ending the room reservation and returning the room back to the room inventory. Roadmap ID:88047
  • Microsoft Teams: Extend Room reservations for Microsoft Teams panels – From a Microsoft Teams panel, users can extend their existing meeting room reservation. The reservation can only be extended if the room is available during that time.  Roadmap ID:88643
  • Microsoft Teams: Teams Connect shared channels – Teams Connect shared channels makes collaborating with those inside and outside your organization easier. Multiple organizations can work together in a shared space – have conversations, schedule a meeting, share, and co-author files, and collaborate on apps, without ever switching tenants in a secure, governable and compliant environment.   Roadmap ID:94820
  • Microsoft Teams: Export API support for Teams Message Reactions  – Export Teams Reactions (heart, thumbs up, laugh, surprised, angry, sad) on a message using the Export API.  Roadmap ID:94874

  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Brightspace (D2L) LMS integration with Microsoft 365 – Microsoft has now partnered with Brightspace (D2L) LMS to deliver more seamless integrated learning experiences. Microsoft Teams Meeting LTI and Classes LTI apps are now available within Brightspace.  Teams Classes LTI enables Educators to create a Team for their Brightspace course using the roster information of the course.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Open LMS integration with Microsoft 365 – Microsoft has now partnered with Open LMS to deliver more seamless integrated learning experiences. Microsoft Teams Meeting LTI and Classes LTI apps are now available within Open LMS.  Teams Classes LTI enables Educators to create a Team for their Open LMS course using the roster information of the course. Teams Meeting LTI empowers educators and students to access, schedule, and manage Teams Meetings within the Brightspace LMS.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: ISV App Subscriptions instead of 3P app subscriptions – Ability for Teams users to view and manage in single place all third-party app subscriptions they’ve purchased in the Teams app store, without leaving the Teams client. Easily adding more licenses for the purchased subscriptions, cancel, upgrade and downgrade subscriptions and access invoices. Roadmap ID:92484
  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: ‘Share to Teams’ from Teams personal Apps or Tabs – ‘Share to Teams’ now allows users to share URLs from personal app or tab to other user or group or channel within Teams. This launches the ‘Share to Teams’ experience in a pop-up/modal window enabling a faster and seamless sharing experience.  Roadmap ID:91117
  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: View video recordings and attendance reports inside LMS – Teachers and students will be able to access video recordings and attendance reports inside their LMS itself.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Pin and hide the room video for Teams Rooms on Windows – Teams Rooms on Windows allows room users to pin or hide room video on the front of room screen. In-room participants can control these options by selecting the room from the roster on the console.   • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Native Apple Silicon Support – Universal Binary Teams Version – Teams now comes as a Universal Binary Mac so it runs natively on both Intel and Apple Silicon based Mac devices. Roadmap ID:94836
  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams and Forms: Ranking Poll – The Ranking question type is being added to the Polls app within Microsoft Teams. Meeting owners can easily create and launch Ranking polls to increase engagement and collect input from their meeting attendees, as well as share the results live.  Roadmap ID:94764
  • Microsoft Teams: Delay delivery of chat messages  – You can send out a chat message in a time that is convenient to you, and the message will arrive to its destination at the time you scheduled. Roadmap ID:88281

  • Microsoft Teams: Upload files to your approval request via Power Automate portal – Files that are uploaded within the Power Automate portal will now show within the view details window of an Approval request within Teams. Roadmap ID:89106

  • Microsoft Teams: Graph API for Teams Meetings Transcripts – Graph API to access Teams Meetings transcript once the meeting is over.  Roadmap ID:95788
