  • SharePoint Syntex: Prebuilt models for invoices and receipts – Analyze and extract structured information from sales invoices or receipts using prebuilt models. Roadmap ID:88703
  • SharePoint Syntex: Provide a document card view for applied Syntex document understanding models – A new library view setting to display extracted model information in a tile view. Roadmap ID:88704
  • Microsoft Viva: Updates to multi-geo support – We can process content that is in all regions and query from all regions. We support region moves. We keep the data in the corresponding regions according to data sovereignty. Feature ID:82044

  • SharePoint: Updated site creation experience – We’ve updated the site creation experience to make it easier for site creators to select the right type of SharePoint site, understand roles, and site permissions. Updates to this experience include refreshed graphics, expanded site descriptions, and more context for different permission levels in the Site permissions panel. Roadmap ID: 85683

  • 🆕 Microsoft Viva: Enroll in Focus plan from the Microsoft Viva Insights app in Teams – Viva Insights is introducing updates to better enable users to protect time for focus from the Viva Insights Teams app. These updates to the protect time page will allow users to enroll in a focus plan and adjust preferences to auto book focus time on one’s calendar from within the Insights app in Teams. Roadmap ID: 88957

Release – March 2022

  • 🆕 SharePoint: Enable Content types from modern library views – If you have SharePoint site collection administrator access, you can enable management of content types directly in your library from modern SharePoint and Syntex libraries and lists. Roadmap ID: 88948
  • 🆕 SharePoint Syntex: Refinement rules for document understanding extractor models – New refinement option to edit model extracted values before saving to the library column. Roadmap ID: 88952
  • 🆕 Microsoft Viva: Top news card on Viva Connections Dashboard – Set up Top news card in Viva Connections Dashboard to surface boosted news from SharePoint. News that has been boosted will prominently display in the Top news card. Roadmap ID: 88955
  • Microsoft Stream: Comment on a video or audio file in SharePoint and OneDrive – This feature builds on top of the already existing comments found in OneDrive and SharePoint Online but presents these comments with a new Office look and feel within the player. This feature allows users with view permissions to leave a comment and users with edit permissions to @ mention, which are both default changes in behaviour in terms of permissions for video and audio files.  Roadmap ID: 88521

Release – April 2022

  • 🆕 SharePoint: Site owners manage app requests in SharePoint Store – Site owners can manage requests for store apps in a streamlined process and track the status in a modern view of My requests page under SharePoint Apps. Roadmap ID: 88950
  • SharePoint: Private drafts for SharePoint pages and news – We’re adding the ability to create private drafts for pages and news posts. A private draft is visible only to the page author, the people the author chooses to share it with, and site admins. It’s great for creating and editing content that’s not ready for others to see except the people you want to collaborate with. Feature ID:85629
