  • Microsoft Teams: Scale Teams Live Events to 100k attendees – 100k Teams Live Events are now supported when you engage the Microsoft LEAP team for assistance producing & delivering your event. Roadmap ID: 85151
  • Microsoft Teams: Starting recording will also start live transcription – If both recording and policy settings are enabled, turning on recording will also start live transcription. Roadmap ID: 85837

  • Microsoft Teams: 2×2 video in Gallery view for web meetings in Safari – Gallery view now can show up to 4 participant videos during a meeting in Safari browser. Roadmap ID: 86513
  • Microsoft Teams: Reply to a specific message – When chatting in Teams, you will be able to reply a specific message. The original message will be quoted in the reply text box, helping everyone in the chat to more easily understand the message’s context. Roadmap ID: 81113
  • Microsoft Teams: Public Preview: Teams follow Office preview – Coming up in June 2021, not only can users be opted-in to use Teams Public Preview, but IT admins can even configure Teams users preview state to follow Office preview state. All of this functionality will be accessible from the Teams Admin Center. Roadmap ID: 81704

  • Microsoft Teams: Prompt to set Meeting Options for Large Teams Meetings in Outlook for Windows in GCC – Teams users in Outlook for Windows will be prompted to set meeting options when organizing Teams meetings for 40 or more participants or 10 or more distribution lists. Roadmap ID: 78699
  • Top hits in Search Autosuggest – Top Hits introduces a new section at the top of the autosuggest suggestions where the most relevant results, across domains, for a given query are represented. Roadmap ID: 70563
  • Microsoft Teams: View switcher – The new view switcher in the top bar of a Teams meeting allows participants to control how they prefer to see the meeting content. Choose between Together mode, Focus, Gallery at top, and Full screen. Roadmap ID: 70754

  • Microsoft Teams: Parent connection in Teams for Education – With Parent connection in Teams for Education, educators can easily connect and engage with the parents and guardians of their class using Teams chat. All parent and guardian data is provisioned using School Data Sync, saving educators and IT staff valuable time. Roadmap ID: 83593
  • Microsoft Teams: Paging on Video Gallery for Web – When you are in gallery view, and there are more videos than what can be shown at once on the meeting stage (the maximum number can vary depending on your device configuration and internet bandwidth), navigation controls and will appear below the Video Gallery to see additional videos of the attendees. Roadmap ID: 84629
  • Microsoft Teams: New Lobby Setting: Only Invited Users join directly for GCC – A new lobby setting is coming to Teams Meeting Options. We are adding “People I Invite” as an option to the “Who can bypass lobby?” setting.  Roadmap ID: 86069
  • Microsoft Teams: Paging on Video Gallery – When you are in Gallery view and there are more than 9 videos, navigation controls will appear below the Gallery. You can use these controls to view more video participants. Roadmap ID: 86480

  • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Customer Lockbox for Microsoft Teams – Customer Lockbox brings you into the approval workflow for requests to access your content. Customer Lockbox is already available for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. This update brings the capability to Microsoft Teams as well. Roadmap ID: 86190
