  • Background effects policy for admins â€“ tenant admins will be able to assign a user-level policy to control how users engage with background effects in meetings. Roadmap ID: 63670
  • Screen share from chat policy governance – Previously governed by the AllowPrivateCalling policy, if diasbled users were not able to screen share from chat. This option is now governed by the ScreenSharingMode policy to allow you to immediately share your screen in 1-1 or group chats. Roadmap ID: 63193
  • Self-Service Sign-up for hybrid environment customers – Users in hybrid tenants who are not in AAD will soon be able to sign-up for Teams using their organizational email address. Roadmap ID: 52416

  • Increase in the number of simultaneous videos in Teams meetings (GCC) – Increase in the number of participants who can be viewed simultaneously on the Teams meeting stage from 4 to 9. Roadmap ID: 64610

  • Queue sent messages when offline – When attempting to send messages while offline, Teams will queue messages and send once a network connection is re-established.   • Priority Notifications in Gov Clouds – Share urgent messages and time-sensitive information more effectively with Teams. Priority notifications alert a recipient of an urgent message on their mobile and desktop devices until a response is received, every two minutes for up to 20 minutes. Roadmap ID: 64689
