• Thumbnail view for PDFs is available in OneDrive and SharePoint on the web – We are improving PDF navigation in OneDrive and SharePoint on the web by adding a thumbnail view in the PDF viewer. Users will be able to open a thumbnail panel to visually browse pages in a PDF and jump directly to a selected page. This update helps users navigate long PDFs more quickly, especially when they need to find a visual section, page layout, chart, image, or form page without scrolling page by page. • Microsoft Teams: One-time email passcodes for external presenters in Teams events – One-time email passcodes provide an easy way for tenant administrators and event organizers to verify anonymous, external presenters invited to their events. Anonymous external presenters will be shown with a “Verified” tag once completing the process. Based on admin settings, the event organizer will also have a set of options available to them that applies to all external presenters, providing the ability to control who is admitted to the meeting or allowing uninvited users with the link to be admitted from the lobby. • Microsoft Teams: Context preservation in Teams – When you return to a conversation within a short duration of time, your selected tab, opened side panel, and layout are restored automatically, so you can keep working without resetting your workspace. • Microsoft Teams: User reported security signals in Teams admin center – This update brings end user security reporting into Teams Admin Center. • Microsoft Teams: Interpreter – Simultaneous mode enhancements – We’re raising the bar on clarity and control with Interpreter. Admins can fully disable voice simulation via PowerShell when needed. Each speaker is automatically assigned a distinct voice, making multi-speaker conversations easier to follow. We’re reducing distractions by showing shimmer effects only to Interpreter users. We’ve added audio notifications to confirm activation, and we’ve introduced in-product feedback mechanisms so users can easily share their input. • Microsoft Teams: Modernized Gallery view in Teams Rooms on Android – The updated Gallery view in Teams Rooms on Android prioritizes video on the meeting stage, arranges participants in consistent aspect ratios, and minimizes movement of participant tiles on stage. Users can hide the room self-preview video and choose to see audio and video participants equally on stage, instead of prioritizing video participants. • Microsoft Teams: Enhanced delegated calling with delegate call access restrictions and join notifications – Call delegation in Teams now includes new controls that give delegators greater privacy and control during active calls. Delegators can lock an ongoing call to prevent delegates from joining or resuming the call and can optionally enable warning tones that notify participants when a delegate joins or resumes a call. • Microsoft Teams: Front-of-room view control for Town Hall in Teams Rooms on Android – When a Teams Rooms on Android is invited as a meeting presenter, the front-of-room display defaults to the attendee view. Presenters always have full control from the console, including green room and off-stage management, and can switch the front-of-room display to presenter view without impacting attendees. • Microsoft Teams: Connect Teams meeting to existing Planner Plans – Teams meetings automatically create a corresponding Planner plan to capture meeting tasks. With this capability, users can now connect Teams meetings to existing Planner plans, so all related tasks across meetings can be tracked in one place. • OneDrive: PDF annotation for sensitivity-label protected PDFs in the OneDrive apps (iOS and Android) – The Microsoft OneDrive apps for iOS and Android will let users annotate PDFs protected by a Microsoft Purview Information Protection sensitivity label that applies encryption — without removing or weakening the label. Users with edit/annotate rights can add a full set of annotations — including ink, highlight, free text, notes, signatures, image/shape/date stamps, bookmarks, and form fields — directly in the OneDrive mobile PDF viewer; the file’s encryption and usage rights are preserved end to end. This applies to the OneDrive apps for iOS and Android only (not OneDrive or SharePoint on the web). The feature is enabled by default for eligible users and requires no new admin action. • Microsoft Viva: Copilot Analytics – Insights in Cowork and WorkIQ spend and usage – Insights into AI spend (Copilot credit usage) at a group or team level will be available in Viva Insights as a dashboard and in Advanced insights. The services in scope of this release are Cowork and Work IQ API. The dashboard experience is available to managers with at least 5 direct reports (scoped access), the Insights analysts, and Global administrators and is enabled by default to ensure immediate access to usage-based cost insights.
