- MC1230889 Outlook for Windows report retirement in the Exchange admin center – The Outlook for Windows Usage Report in the Exchange admin center will be retired between mid-April and mid-May 2026. Admins must use the Microsoft 365 admin center for Outlook usage insights. No impact on Outlook functionality; no admin action needed, but update related documentation. (11 Feb 2026)
- MC1230888 Teams on the web – Browser Update Required by May 15, 2026 – Starting May 15, 2026, Microsoft Teams on the web will require browsers compliant with ECMAScript 2022. Unsupported browsers will show reminders until then, after which access will be blocked. Desktop and mobile clients are unaffected. Organizations should update browsers and inform users to ensure compliance. (11 Feb 2026)
- MC1230452 SharePoint Pages: Retirement of Web Search (Bing) image pivot – The Web Search (Bing) image pivot in SharePoint page image picker will be retired between March and April 2026 due to the Bing Search API retirement. Authors will lose web image search but retain Stock images, uploads, and site assets. No admin action is needed; inform users accordingly. (10 Feb 2026)

- Microsoft Teams: Sensitivity label inheritance for meeting recordings – Meeting recordings now automatically inherit the meeting’s sensitivity label. When label inheritance is enabled in sensitivity label policies, a labeled meeting applies the same label to its MP4 recording, ensuring access controls, data handling rules, and Copilot or agent responses based on transcripts consistently respect the meeting’s sensitivity end to end. Users with appropriate permissions will be able to preview relevant files referenced directly within activity explorer in each alert. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.
