  • SharePoint: Signed Adobe & Docusign documents saved to the originating folder – Documents signed via Adobe or DocuSign eSignature, when initiated through the SharePoint eSignature platform, will now be saved in the originating SharePoint folder instead of the default Apps folder. The originating folder is the folder where the starting document was  located at the point of eSignature request initiation.   • SharePoint: Enterprise Application Insights for SharePoint sites – Enterprise Application Insights is a powerful report which helps SharePoint Administrators to discover all the SharePoint sites that are allowed access by third-party applications registered in your tenant.   • Microsoft Teams: Control External Access by Domain for Specific Users and Groups – Gain granular control over external communication. By setting custom External Access policies, you can define domain allow/deny lists and assign them to specific users or groups – capabilities that were previously tenant-wide only (“Teams and Skype for Business users in external organizations”). Use this to pilot with a department, restrict high‑risk roles to approved partners, or open federation broadly where appropriate. Example: Allow Group A to communicate only with a specific domain, while Group B can communicate with all external domains.   •  Microsoft Teams: Interpreter agent support in Teams rooms on Windows – The Interpreter agent acts as a translator in Microsoft Teams meetings, allowing participants to listen to the meeting in their chosen language with real-time translation so speaking different languages isn’t a barrier to effective understanding and collaboration.   • Microsoft Teams: Adaptive card-based app & copilot agent link unfurling in Teams – Discover and add SharePoint agents in chats and channels from in-context store. Users can click on ‘Add agents and bots’ from the roster drop down. This will open the in-context store, where users can discover SharePoint agents and add them directly to the conversation and collaborate in the group.   • Microsoft Teams: Camera view switching in multi-camera Teams Rooms on Windows – When in a meeting with another Teams Rooms on Windows that has multiple cameras, you can switch camera views in that room via the participant panel on the console, or video tile on a touch board, to optimize your views.   • Microsoft Teams: Organization Trust Score for Apps and Agents – Today, IT admins manually review trust data for Teams apps and agents in the Teams admin center to ensure they meet organizational security, privacy, and compliance standards. This feature introduces a scalable, automated evaluation process. Admins can define their organization’s trust requirements once, and the system will automatically assess each app and agent—generating a Trust Score and detailed evaluation report tailored to those requirements. This enables faster, more consistent decision-making by clearly identifying which apps and agents meet the organization’s standards and where further review is needed.   • Microsoft Teams: Teams frontline BYOD onboarding wizard – Simplify frontline onboarding with an improved Teams mobile experience on personal devices.   • Microsoft Purview: Data Lifecycle Management- Introduction of secure workflow to bypass retention holds and delete content on OneDrive and SharePoint Online – We’re introducing a new capability in Microsoft Purview Data Lifecycle Management to bypass retention policies and delete content from OneDrive and SharePoint Online before the hold or retention policy duration expires. This feature helps organizations manage Copilot-related artifacts—such as Teams recordings and transcripts—independently of OneDrive retention polices, so organizations can decide how long they want to keep and when to delete this content.The feature includes support for simulation testing, audit, and disposition reviews, and introduces admin policy authoring flows.   • Microsoft Viva: Copilot Dashboard – Updated meeting metrics for Intelligent Recap – Copilot Dashboard users can now view metrics that reflect both summarized and recapped meeting activity, offering a more complete view of Copilot’s impact in Teams. These updates replace previous Copilot Assisted Hour calculations and meeting metrics with unified “summarized or recapped” metrics, helping leaders better understand usage across their organization.   • Microsoft Purview Compliance Portal: Insider Risk Management – Data Security Investigation integration – Launch a pre-scoped Data Security Investigation (DSI) from an IRM case.   • Microsoft Purview: Inline data security controls (DLP) for more unmanaged GenAI apps in Edge for Business – Inline protections for text and file uploads, directly integrated into for Edge for Business, can be applied to more unmanaged consumer GenAI apps.   • Microsoft Purview: Inline data security controls (DLP) for file uploads to unmanaged GenAI apps in Edge for Business – Inline protections for file upload protection are directly integrated into for Edge for Business to help prevent data leakage when users upload files to consumer GenAI apps in the browser. In addition to existing text upload controls in Purview collection and DLP policies, Admins can now detect and enforce inline protections on file uploads. Policies can target file-specific conditions such as file size, file type, and sensitive information types, enabling organizations to audit or block activities for users in Edge on Intune-managed Windows devices.   • Microsoft Purview: Information Protection-Content Explorer – Enhanced Tag (SIT, Labels) Filter at UI Layer – Introduces enhanced controls in Content Explorer’s UI, enabling scoped visibility and filtering of SIT and label data.   • Microsoft Purview: Information Protection-Email attachment Preview in Activity Explorer – We’re enhancing Activity Explorer to provide greater visibility into sensitive data flagged in Exchange Online. Previously, only the message body was viewable, which limited insight into flagged content. With this update, admins will be able to preview email attachments directly within Activity Explorer—without needing to download the email.   • Microsoft Purview: New Microsoft Purview Data Security Posture Management Experience – At Ignite, Microsoft is introducing a major evolution of Purview Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) to help organizations strengthen data security and confidently embrace AI. The new DSPM experience unifies visibility and control across traditional data and AI-driven environments, delivering outcome-based guided workflows that turn insights into actionable steps—so teams can prioritize risks and remediate faster. It brings AI observability, enhanced posture reporting, and intelligent Security Copilot agents to automate tasks like triage and policy management. Plus, Purview now extends coverage beyond Microsoft data with third-party signals from partners like BigID, Cyera, OneTrust, and Varonis, giving security teams a single, streamlined view of sensitive data across clouds and platforms. Together, these innovations make DSPM the central hub for managing data security posture in the era of AI. We are also extending Data Risk Assessments to Fabric and to item-level analysis with new remediation actions like bulk disabling of overshared SharePoint links.   • Microsoft Purview: Information Protection-Azure AI Search honors Purview labels and policies – Azure AI Search now ingests Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels and enforces corresponding protection policies through built-in indexers (SharePoint, OneLake, Azure Blob, ADLS Gen2). This enables secure, policy-aligned search over enterprise data, enabling agentic RAG scenarios where only authorized documents are returned or sent to LLMs, preventing data oversharing and aligning with enterprise data protection standards.
