  • SharePoint: eSignature integration with Adobe and Docusign rolling out globally – Previously, the use third-party providers as part of SharePoint eSignature platform were limited to regions supported by Microsoft’s native SharePoint eSignature.   • SharePoint: Enhanced functionalities to manage SharePoint Embedded Containers through SharePoint Admin Center – The new update empowers the SharePoint Embedded Administrators (SPE Admins) to manage their containers better through sorting and filtering capabilities as well as set sensitivity labels on containers. The SPE Admins now also have user role management capabilities to add, reassign, or remove users from various roles of a container.     • Microsoft Teams: Intelligent Recap for GCC High environment – Intelligent meeting recap uses AI to provide a quick summary of your meeting, highlighting key discussion points, identifying follow-up actions, and offering quick access to significant points such as name mentions, when a screen was shared, individualized speaker markers, topics, and chapters.     • Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Places – Auto update location with Workplace Presence – With Workplace Presence, you can discover coworkers who are in office nearby. Location will be automatically updated to “office” when we detect that an employee is on site, signaled by the connection of their laptop to a known peripheral, e.g. a known or company-managed monitor in a corporate office, or on a bookable desk. Users can enable/disable “Auto-update my location when detected in the office” via the Places settings menu in Teams.     • Microsoft Teams: Voice and face data export controls – This new feature provides controls for voice and face profile data export for users. To ensure security and protection of user privacy, individuals can export their own profile data limiting risk of download or sharing by tenant administrators.     • Microsoft Teams: Cross-platform meetings via SIP join for Teams Rooms – Joining SIP-based conferencing services like Google Meet, Zoom, Cisco Webex, and others via Teams Rooms offers a seamless collaboration experience, mirroring the native Teams interface. This integration supports features such as 1080p video, dual screen, various layout options, HDMI input, and others contingent on the third-party platform’s in-meeting controls. A SIP calling plan from a CVI partner, currently Pexip, is necessary. This is available for Teams Rooms customers with a Pro license.     • Microsoft Teams: Teams menu bar icon with Presence on Mac – Introduction of a Menu Bar icon with a flyout for common workflows that reduces clicks and simplifies checking for at-a-glance information like the presence status.     • Microsoft 365 app: Microsoft Places – Managed booking with Copilot – Building on booking suggestions, Copilot’s managed booking feature rebooks room declines for single and recurring meetings, especially when room availability varies week to week.       • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Auto detection of room audio in BYOD rooms expanded to audio devices with video – The room audio auto-detect and pre-select feature for BYOD rooms that was released in October 2024 now activates the video component of composite audio-video peripherals as the selected camera in Teams.       • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Copilot in Meetings will suggest follow up questions to ask it – When Copilot in Teams Meetings responds to a prompt, it will also suggest follow ups to keep the conversation going. These questions will generally be based on the response it gave prior, and could be related to honing in on a particular topic, asking for more details, or asking what a particular person said during the meeting.       • Microsoft Teams: Intelligent Event Recap in Town hall and webinar (Premium) – Intelligent recap is now available for town hall and webinar event instances, just like the intelligent recap experience you are used to in meetings. Event organizer, co-organizers and presenters can now easily explore the meeting recording by speakers and topics, and access AI-generated meeting notes, AI-generated tasks, and name mentions. In addition to availability with a Teams Premium license, intelligent event recap features are also available in Copilot for Microsoft 365 licenses.       • Microsoft Teams: Auto-association of BYOD room devices in the Pro Management portal – Manually associating peripherals to rooms may feel like an endless task if your organization has several bring your own device (BYOD) rooms. IT admins can streamline the process and get enhanced inventory visibility with this feature which utilizes meeting room invite data to intelligently associate peripherals to these spaces.       • Microsoft Teams: Forward messages with app cards – Messages containing app cards in chats and channels can now be forwarded.       • Microsoft Teams: Town hall concurrent attendee increase to 50,000 – Organizers of town hall instances can now reach wider audiences in a single event with an expansion to a maximum of 50,000 simultaneous attendees. This increase serves as a significant jump from the previous attendee cap of 20,000 for organizers with a Teams Premium license. The quality and stability of town halls up to this new limit will remain constant, providing high-quality and reliable content to participants. For events with more than 20,000 concurrent attendees, some interactivity features are disabled for all attendees. Organizations can get support for audiences up to 50,000 concurrent attendees by reaching out to the Microsoft 365 Live Event Assistance Program (LEAP) for assistance (Microsoft 365 Live Event Assistance Program – Microsoft Adoption).       • Microsoft Teams: Town halls now available in GCC-High – Set up and host large scale events across a GCC-High organization with the familiar Teams app you use for webinars and meetings using town hall. Town hall capabilities include a new meeting template, capacity for up to 10k attendees, green room, the ability to manage what attendees see, RTMP-in, live translated captions, and more.       • Microsoft Teams: Best practice configuration monitoring dashboard in Teams admin center – Microsoft recommends best practices to ensure a smooth collaborative experience on Teams.       • Microsoft Teams: Collaborative call delegation on Teams phone devices – Teams phone device users will be able to share access to their phone line with a specific group of users, without a structured delegation system. This enables group members to receive calls and initiate calls on behalf of others, enabling a simple and collaborative communication experience.       • Microsoft Teams: Meeting organizers can turn off copying or forwarding of live captions, transcript, and recap for meetings (Premium) – We are expanding the existing ‘Turn off copying or forwarding of meeting chat’ control for meeting organizers to include live captions, transcription, and meeting recap. With this change, meeting organizers with eligible licenses will see a control called ‘Turn off copying and forwarding of meeting chat, live captions, and transcript’ in the meeting options.       • Microsoft Teams: Shared call history for call delegation on Teams phone devices – Call delegators and their delegates can now view shared call history records for the shared line directly on their Teams phone devices. This enhancement promotes greater transparency and collaboration. All delegates associated with a user will be able to monitor incoming and outgoing calls for the shared line, irrespective of their participation in the call.       • Microsoft Teams: Custom name for Teams panels – Admins can use the Teams Rooms Pro Management portal to assign a custom name to their Teams Rooms Pro or Teams Shared Device licensed panels. This new name displays on the panel’s home screen, replacing the global address book name that appears in Outlook or Teams. Positioned on the user bar, this indicator ensures your voice is captured correctly, eliminating the need to ask, “Can you hear me?” By offering continuous visual confirmation, it enhances user confidence and reduces communication breakdowns.       • Microsoft Teams: New policy for voice and face enrollment defaulting to ‘On’ – The new policy gives IT admins enhanced flexibility with distinct settings for voice and face enrollment. You can also change settings including the spoken language, the translated language, and whether the original and translated transcript would show side by side.       • Microsoft Teams: Enhanced spell check with multi-language support – Enhanced spell check will help ensure that your messages are clear and professional.         • OneDrive: Performance improvements – This feature will provide faster page load times when using OneDrive for Web or when using the Files app in Teams irrespective of your network speed. You will see faster screen loading, sorting, filtering, file moving, and renaming.         • OneDrive: Files On-Demand for Web – The Files On-Demand options of “Always keep on this device” and “Free up space” will soon be made available on OneDrive for Web for your synced files. You will be able to select files and folders to be always available offline on your device directly from within the browser without having to navigate away to File Explore or Finder to perform this action. OneDrive will download these, and they’ll take up space on your computer.         • Microsoft 365 admin center: New usage reports for Microsoft Copilot with enterprise data protection – The new report for Copilot (enterprise data protection) will include total active users, average daily active users, and active users of per app. The report will initially be limited to Copilot usage in the Microsoft 365 App and Microsoft Edge by users with a Microsoft 365 license. In the future, the report will include more apps. Admins can view usage insights as totals and can view trends for the last 7, 30, 90, or 180 days. Copilot can identify and summarize the key points so you can show up prepared in just a few minutes. When you open an upcoming meeting that has a summary available, click on “Prepare” and get a detailed briefing of your meeting leveraging the power of the Microsoft Graph. Moreover, admins with appropriate permissions can now add exclusion via defined detection groups, which contain similar entities like domains or file types.                                   • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – Sensitivity labels protection policy support for Azure SQL, Azure Storage, and Amazon S3 – Label-based protection support is now possible for Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Amazon S3 buckets, all within Microsoft Purview Information Protection. You may already know how to protect Microsoft 365 data like documents or emails with sensitivity labels, and you will now be able to apply these labels and the related protections to these additional sources. In addition, you will have a consistent framework for your sensitive information by allowing your existing label scheme and extending it to apply within these sources.                                   • Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Priva Privacy Management – Multicloud environments – Microsoft Priva Privacy Risk Management extends its overexposure policies into data contained in Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Amazon S3. Organizations can create privacy policies that specify which data sources, databases, or storage buckets are in scope and Priva will automatically notify data asset owners when matches are detected.
