- Microsoft Clipchamp: Brand kit – Extended elements and tenant-wide rollout – Brand kit enables anyone to create and share brand asset collections including colors, fonts, and logos to easily apply brand elements while creating. This release adds support for images, backgrounds, stickers, video, and audio asset types. An organization’s official assets can now be rolled out tenant-wide via SharePoint Organization Asset Libraries (OAL). Brand kit creation, sharing, and manual usage is being made generally available to all Clipchamp for work accounts for users with standard access. - SharePoint: Adobe Acrobat Sign Integration with SharePoint eSignature – SharePoint users who are also Adobe Acrobat sign customers can initiate eSignatures directly from PDF documents. The eSignature request will be processed by Adobe and a copy of the signed document will be automatically saved in SharePoint after signing. This reduces the risks of potential data leakage that customers often report as they move sensitive documents between SharePoint and 3rd party eSignature platforms. Manual download or upload of documents will no longer be required when initiating the request or when saving the signed documents back to SharePoint for long term storage. When this setting is applied it restricts copilot’s ability to make inferences or evaluations about people or groups when prompted to do so by users. Users cannot disable this setting. - Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Mesh app on Meta Quest headsets supports hand interactions – Microsoft Mesh app users on Meta Quest 2, 3, and Pro headsets can now use their hands to use the app, move around in event environments, and interact with objects. - Microsoft Teams: Block a user for your organization – With the availability of the delete API (removeallaccessforuser API), it does not stop the malicious user from resending the message to the same victim. To help prevent that, a block user API will allow the admin to block the malicious user from reaching out again. To make this even more effective, we will utilize a similar feature as the allow/block list in federation to block the malicious user from the entire organization. Real-time notifications with Live Activities automatically update in real-time so users can see when the meeting has started, when it’s in progress, whether recording is on, when someone needs to be admitted from the lobby, and when the meeting has ended. These classifiers are built using large language models. Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance provides the tools to help organizations detect business conduct and regulatory compliance violations (e.g. SEC or FINRA), such as sensitive or confidential information, harassing or threatening language, and sharing of adult content. Built with privacy by design, usernames are pseudonymized by default, role-based access controls are built in, investigators are opted in by an admin, and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy. - Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention – Microsoft 365 Groups scoping in Teams DLP policy extend protection to 1:1/n chats – When scoping policies to Microsoft 365 Groups in Teams DLP policies, members of Teams standard and shared channel chats associated with the groups are currently protected by the policies. This change will automatically extend the protection to standard/shared channels chats in other Microsoft 365 Groups and 1:1/n (non-channel) chats. There is no longer a need to add users, security groups or other Microsoft 365 groups to protect these chats, except for customers that have enabled optical character recognition (OCR) in Teams chat. - Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management- Alert Spotlighting – On the alert list page, high priority alerts will be spotlighted to help analysts prioritize the most important alerts first. Alerts are spotlighted based on predefined rules which are common across all tenants across all industries. Alert Spotlighting feature was developed to assist admins in prioritizing alerts to be triaged. Every generated alert has a risk score, a list of activities performed, tags, and triggers. The Alert Spotlighting feature uses this information to decide whether an alert can be spotlighted. Based on a detailed study of alert triage patterns across tenants, we have developed a rule-based algorithm to spotlight alerts that would be of importance to admins, based on historical volume analysis. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.
