• Microsoft Clipchamp: New feature for silence removal (pauses) in Clipchamp – We think editing your video could be a quick job but isn’t necessarily so sometimes. Silence removal uses AI auto transcription to transcribe your audio. We infer pauses in your speech transcription and any gaps in the speech we detected for more than 3 seconds is considered a pause. It leverages Windows Autopilot and auto-login technologies to automate the enrollment and configuration of the devices from the cloud, using the credentials stored in the Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro Management. • Microsoft Teams: Survivable Branch Appliance support for call controls, auto attendants, and call queues – We continue to expand our Survivable Branch Appliance (SBA) capabilities. We are adding support for call transfer, forwarding, and the ability to manage call routing settings for calls to a call queue or auto attendant, in the event of an outage. If incoming calls to a call queue or auto attendant are received during an outage, organizations will have the option to choose to redirect these calls to an alternate call queue or auto attendant or to reach a specific user within the site, ensuring that important calls are not missed. • Microsoft Teams: Multi-instance app customization support for Teams apps – IT admin has the ability to customize Teams apps to align with the company’s brand and enhance their usefulness for employees. • Microsoft Teams: Citations for Copilot in Teams meetings available on mobile – Now available on mobile, Copilot in Teams responses have a citation number at the end of each Copilot statement that provides detail on the meeting artifact or source that Copilot used to generate the response, like the meeting transcript. Users can select the citation to see which speaker the citation is attributed to, the exact quote from the transcript, as well as the time stamp of the quote in the transcript. • Microsoft Teams: Expanded incoming call setting options for Teams Phone Mobile users – Teams Phone Mobile users will now the flexibility to choose whether group calls, calls received as part of a call queue, and meeting nudges are received natively on their mobile phone or in the Teams app. This new capability enables greater flexibility and mobility and allows users to easily move these calls between their native dialer or the Teams app without interruption. • 🆕 Microsoft Teams: Speaker recognition and attribution for all Teams Rooms – Introducing speaker recognition for Teams Rooms on Windows. With speaker recognition, Copilot in Teams can deliver meeting summaries, insights, and action items by attributing contributions to individual speakers.
